Andrea Bargnani for Joakim Noah

Post#1 » by ohhla2000 » Wed Jan 16, 2008 6:28 pm

Would you do it? We would take back Kryapha for salary purposes, but would you pull the trigger on this deal?

Noah is a terrible offensive player and I would compare him to a rich man's Michael Ruffin. But the dude can rebound and hustle, everything Araujo was supposed to be except with talent.

Personally if I'm running the team I make this deal.... Just want to see what Raptor Fans think.

its not going to happen. Joakim has a bad attitude anywayz. Even though I hate Bargs, we should trade him for next year's high draft pick of guys like Derrick Rose, Beasley,.....

I've already sent a Noah related question to Doug Smith for the mailbag. While I didn't make any trade scenarios, I did say he'd be a great fit for the Raps.

Natural rebounder, great court vision, and a winner.

although i want to...i just can't not yet, espescially since with Noah what you see is what u get, IMO he doesnt have much upside to become better. If only we had known Jose would develop so nicely we prolly wouldnt be in this position...if you know what i mean...

If you think this is all Bargnani will ever be, the guy we're seeing this year, then sure.

I am not a Bargs fan, but I would not do this deal. Maybe if you include Nocioni then it could be fair. I would rather call Philly for Dalembert.

If the Bulls throw in Ben Gordon, sure, if not, are you serious? Noah was a great college player who will be an 8th man at best in the NBA.

Noah is a great locker-room presence.

Just ask his teammates.

No I wouldn't do it. I wouldn't even consider it. I think Noah is terrible, he had one great NCAA tournament, and has been pretty average outside of that. And what's with him constantly getting in argumants and fights with people on the Bulls? Scott Skiles was angry at him when he criticized the team after his first game or something, he got in a fight with an assistant coach, the players on the team then voted to suspend him longer than the coaches planned too, and now he apparently got in a fight with Ben Wallace. He's a pretty high maintenance scrub as far as I'm concerned.

Noah had a STATEMENT game last night. Really speaks volumes on the kid. 12 and 11 in 23 minutes. This is what a back to back champion is all about. Say what you want about the kid, but he produces and he IS good locker room presence (in light of what has gone on the last week)

Man he'd really help our team in the interior aspect of things. His D and rebounding would come in handy. Plus he has good hands around the rim.

I'd rather have a high maintenance super scrub that lays it all out on the line for my team than an extremely streaky finesse big man that hangs out on the perimeter, gets lost on d, and can't rebound.

Let's trade Chris Bosh for Ben Wallace while we're at it too.

It's a pretty good trade proposal, but personally I wouldn't do it just yet. Bargnani may suck now, but he's still learning to play C, and it's only his 2nd year.

I think Joke-im would be an interesting acquisition. Sam hasn't had a player who will challenge him to a fight in the locker room in years.

If this were to happen, I'd probably just start watching more Jazz or Sixer games.

I can't stand the sight of Noah.

Are we assuming the same thing for Noah, I can't keep up.

Also, imo, Noah sucks. Never liked him as a prospect. Well, wait, I think he can be ok, just not the first/second star we NEED.

Also he kind of looks floppy to me. Not like he will try and pretend to draw a lot of fouls. Just an aesthetic thing.

Also his dad plays tennis. I mean, can you get more gauche?
