New York Trade Breakdown
Change in Team Outlook: +6.0 ppg, -1.9 rpg, and +5.9 apg.

Incoming Players
Darius Songaila
6-8 PF from Wake Forrest
5.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 1.2 apg in 18.0 minutes
Antonio Daniels
6-4 PG from Bowling Green
9.0 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 5.3 apg in 31.3 minutes
Etan Thomas
6-10 C from Syracuse
No games yet played in 2007/08
Gilbert Arenas
6-4 PG from Arizona
22.4 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 5.9 apg in 39.5 minutes
Outgoing Players
Zach Randolph
6-9 PF from Michigan State
16.8 ppg, 10.1 rpg, 1.8 apg in 31.8 minutes
Stephon Marbury
6-2 PG from Georgia Tech
13.9 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 4.7 apg in 33.5 minutes

this will shake up the knicks roster and they get a superstar in his prime. If not, he is a big expiring contract which wouldn't hurt them too. they also get good character guys that plays hard. they will turn into a very good offensive team with a mix of good hustle guys. they can restore the garden crowd esp because of gil zero with crawford in the backcourt.

curry/thomas
lee/songaila

crawford/daniels
arenas/nate

i think that with jamison playing well and starting to be very mature with his game, they should re-sign him. and also gil zero opting out means that they are not secured with him. they get an all-star power forward and a good scoring pg that would be very nice in their system. they also keep the core that has been carrying this team to elite this season. they will have a very dangerous starting 5 and a very young bench who has been contributing this season. this trade would take out the danger of losing gil for nothing.

Words cannot describe how bad this deal is for WAS.

Zach Randolph is a damn good post scorer, but a black hole at that. HEs not the greatest passer. He wont thrive in WAS, he would stunt his production and ruin our offense. I really fail to see how Z-Bo is a "all star" Power forward, and how is Marbury a "Good Scoring PG" at 20 Mil?!? I'd rather just pay Gilbert 20 Mil.

Gilbert opted out for more money, money we can offer him.

So please, STOP with these GARBAGE offers.

I'm more open with Arenas trades than most WAS fans, but even I can see that this trade is H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E

But more importantly, before anyone starts...rambo is a Wizard fan NOT a Knick fan.

No words can describe how horrible this is. I wouldn't trade a bag of hog **** for that Knick package.

True...Gilbert simply wouldn't fit on a team of misfits, bums, untalented wastes of space, and career losers.

Sigh. God loves Knicks fans and their ridiculously one-sided trade ideas.

Obviously an awful trade for the Wiz, but let's not be insulting.

You're right; I shouldn't have generalized. God doesn't love all Knicks fans.

That's why we still have Isiah and Dolan pulling the strings.
