this will shake up the knicks roster and they get a superstar in his prime. If not, he is a big expiring contract which wouldn't hurt them too. they also get good character guys that plays hard. they will turn into a very good offensive team with a mix of good hustle guys. they can restore the garden crowd esp because of gil zero with crawford in the backcourt.

i think that with jamison playing well and starting to be very mature with his game, they should re-sign him. and also gil zero opting out means that they are not secured with him. they get an all-star power forward and a good scoring pg that would be very nice in their system. they also keep the core that has been carrying this team to elite this season. they will have a very dangerous starting 5 and a very young bench who has been contributing this season. this trade would take out the danger of losing gil for nothing.

Words cannot describe how bad this deal is for WAS.

Zach Randolph is a damn good post scorer, but a black hole at that. HEs not the greatest passer. He wont thrive in WAS, he would stunt his production and ruin our offense. I really fail to see how Z-Bo is a "all star" Power forward, and how is Marbury a "Good Scoring PG" at 20 Mil?!? I'd rather just pay Gilbert 20 Mil.
