Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to New Jersey and L.A. Clippers being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. New Jersey and L.A. Clippers had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Does Brand have more value than VC?
Yes. But even if EB stays in L.A, what happens if Elton isnt te same after his injury. Here they have a chance to land a big market draw w/o the risk

I here what you're saying about Brand but I would think they (the Clippers) would want to wait and see first. And there's also concerns about Kristic's health isn't there? Unless the Clips view Kristic as an expiring contract he's going to have to be resigned by the end of next season so there's going to be some cost there. With Kaman there, I don't know that the Clips (who are still cheap) would be willing to pay Kristic what he might get from other teams to be a backup C.
