Indiana, Milwaukee, Lakers

Indiana trades:
Jermaine O'Neal
Troy Murphy
Danny Granger

Indiana receives:
Michael Redd
Charlie Villanueva
Jordan Farmar
Bobby Simmons

Lakers trade:
Lamar Odom
Jordan Farmar
Kwame Brown

Lakers receive:
Troy Murphy
Jermaine O'Neal

Milwaukee trades:
Michael Redd
Bobby Simmons
Charlie Villanueva

Milwaukee receives:
Danny Granger
Kwame Brown
Lamar Odom

Why for Indiana:
I know its hard to move big for small, but Jermaine seems hobbled right now. I think Michael Redd would be even better then he already is in JOB's system and would complement Mike Dunleavy very well. We also get 2 young promising players in Jordan Farmar and Charlie Villanueva. Supposedly we almost moved Jermaine in a deal for Villanueva 3 years ago, and Larry Bird has said he thinks highly of Villanueva. Jordan Farmar is developing well also. I know it would be hard to move Danny also, but if you think of the trade as Jermaine for Michael Redd, and Danny for Charlie V and Jordan Farmar we get pretty good returns. We also swap Murphy's contract for Bobby Simmons.

Why for the Lakers:
They get Jermaine without having to give up Bynum (which they obviously won't do now). Troy Murphy gives them a better version of Radmonovic and makes Laker fans forget about trading the great Brian Cook.

Why for the Bucks:
Milwaukee downgrades their best player to Lamar Odom, but I think they make out great in this deal. A frontcourt of Granger/Yi/Bogut is extremely promising, and they are able to unload Bobby Simmons bad contract without having to really take one back in return.

That's a steal for Milwaukee. I have trouble seeing Indiana doing it and maybe even the lakers.

Agreed. Redd and Villanueva aren't worth Granger and Odom AND making Simmons' huge contract disappear.

possibly give Indiana Brown and LA the choice of Simmons or Murphy and I'd even give our 08 first to LA but still dunno if the deal would go down.

Terrible trade for the Pacers. No way we do that.

If you swap Granger for Shawne Williams does Milwaukee still do it? Personally I don't think Williams, Odom and Brown are enough insentive for Milwaukee to give up Redd and Charlie V, even if they get to be rid of Simmons contract.

Redd is better then Odom I would not do this deal, I would want Farmer to even consider it. I loved Odom when he played for the Heat, but ever since hes been on the Lakers he doesn't seems like a twiner that isnt a PF or SF and not a allstar type player.
