Utah needs a shot blocker, and thats hunter. They can expect a similar 15 mpg from him that he did in Phoenix. The nuggets save cash and get a prospect.

i've proposed a deal involving Hunter to the Jazz a while ago (before he got shut down for surgery), only to get shot down by Denver fans who said Hunter is valuable as a backup C...

I really don't see anything's changed, especially with Nene's comeback schedule is still unknown.

And I also don't see the Jazz doing this (especially when they have to give up Almond, their last draft pick) until Hunter proves he's healed completely. The Jazz want help now preferably.

Hunter is not our backup C Nene will be once he's back DEN says yes because they get another center for what hunter used to be and a young swingman that will eventually replace iverson at guard

G: Brandon Roy/Jamal Crawford/J.R. Smith

I honestly dont know what the deal with hunter i, but Karl isnt playing him. He is clearly better than collins though and would have a place in Utah. If Nene comes back before the season is over, I would imagine denver would do this if just for the money savings.

As far as Utah, they have to do something and I think Hunter is the best option at such a cheap price.

Hes been out due to surgery since early in the year. Prior to that he was oft-injured due to his knees needing surgery. Really hasn't been full strength in a nuggets uniform. Just returned to practice last Wednesday, so expect to see him on the floor pretty soon. Good player, should get some minutes with Nene out. Should be a decent contributor, however if Nene returns, this trade works pretty well, even for devision foes.

If Hunter is hurt, why the hell would Utah do this? They value Almons pretty high.

Utah sees no ploint in this trade for them since Hunter is a 3 legged dog currently.
