Need a SG/SF? Step right up!

Here's the problem: the Kings are overloaded with talent at the 2/3 with not enough minutes to go around. IMO, the levels of value go like this:

Virtually untouchable:
Kevin Martin

Much rather keep, but can be pried away:
John Salmons
Francisco Garcia

Available for the right offer:
Ron Artest
Quincy Douby
Dhantay Jones

The Kings are especially looking for:
-A young 4 who can rebound and play defense, shotblocking a bonus
-A PG for the future, must be pass first and be able to hit a jumpshot.
-Unloading long contracts such as Kenny Thomas, SAR, and Miller. But keep in mind we can probably get expirings for Miller by himself.
-Draft picks (value depending on the player being traded)

What do you want from the Hornets for Salmons?

We got expirings and draft picks to toss around.

I can't speak for any other Kings fans, but the fact that the rest of his team benched Noah gives me pause on that deal.

Rasual Butler + '08 1st

or

Bobby Jackson + '08 1st

(both expirings)

or

your pick of the two + Hilton Armstrong

for

Salmons

That do anything for you?

Armstrong + 08 1st + expiring filler works for me.

I'd be pissed if that's all we got for Brad in the event that we traded him. He's right around his same production when he was picked as an 'all-star' a couple years ago or so.

With his age and remaining salary, I think expirings is all you'll get, but stranger things have happened...

As an outsider looking in, I think they'd be lucky to get a expiring. Maybe they could get one in the summer, but right now? I'm skeptical about that. Yes, he is putting up some decent numbers this year, but I don't think teams can overlook his age, size of contract and the fact that he has the athleticism of an 83 year old woman. Also, the fact that his stats are back up aren't all that surprising when you consider that he's averaging nearly 10 more minutes and about 3-4 more shots a game than he did last year.

I suppose if you find a team desperate enough, as BB said, anything can happen.

I could see an Orlando biting now and maybe including a heavily protected pick.

He actually gotten better this year...i.e. driving from the perimeter and dunking, getting rebounds and etc.... IMO it's unfair to say that...

Eh, I seen better jokes than that... I think mitch said it but he said that "Brad is almost athletic as my lamp" (Before this year)
