There has been speculation for months about a Suns/Jazz SF swap, but to me it makes a lot more sense to swap PFs. In this deal, the Suns lose nothing offensively, save a little cash, and get a bonus player in Ronnie Brewer who would fit their system perfectly.
The Jazz get a PF with more size and who is a legitimate threat to block a shot. amare is no all NBA defensive guy, but at least players have to account for him when driving to the hoop. Phoenix would probably have to throw in a future protected first rounder here for the Jazz to bite, but I think it could make both teams better in the long run.
