For the MIN one, I won't say whether its fair or not, but I doubt it will happen.
MIN cares about money, and I don't think they can afford the financial hit.
NYK cares about talent, and I don't think they can afford the talent hit.

Ha, no reason for the Wolves to do that.

MIN has the athletic versoin of Randolph, why would they want the original?

I think you may be doing Big Al a disservice by comparing him to Randolph.
1) Big Al is hardly athletic, so characterizing him as such would not be fair.
2) Big Al is a pure post player, one of the few in the league and one of the best. Randolph is not really that kind of player. He's more like a wannabe outside scoring big in the fashion of a KG or Chris Bosh, but lacks the athleticism.
3) Al Jefferson is one of the top 25 players in the NBA (if the Wolves had another in the top 100, they could actually do something). Zach Randolph is no where near as good of a player as Al Jefferson.
4) Al Jefferson will never be considered a great defensive player, but he is more than adequate. Zach Randolph is not.

Disagree with both points. Right now, I'd say adequate is pushing it - he's got a ways to go to be 'more than adequate'. But he's improving, and I would hesitate to say that he's never going to be considered a great defensive player - he's got tools, give it a few years and it's a possibility.

Athleticism is nonexistent yes...not a post player? Zach's a post player...trust me on that.

First trade is obviously a trade the Knicks wouldn't nor shouldn't make but that doesn't mean its one the Twolves should make either. They have even more reason not to do it.
There is no reason for the Knicks to make that deal with the Sonics. None whatsoever.

As a 4 Al is an average defender. At the 5 he is beatup. but he is fine at the 4 for defense.
I would say he is athletic. Not KG athletic, but considering his size he is plenty athletic. He jumps for rebounds and blocks and has huge dunks.
But I appreciate the defense of Al Kyle.

Sonics don't want anything to do with Stephon Marbury, although getting lee would be nice.
