Miami-NJ (Just putting it out there)

It was suggested by two Nets season ticket holders on another Nets forum that Miami offered Shaq to NJ for this and that it's being considered. Personally, I'd say Miami rapes. But...

Shaq

for

RJ
Collins
Marcus Williams

If anyone would make Shaq better, Jason Kidd is the guy. They have the depth there that Shaq could play 30 significant minutes. And no matter how old he gets, he still grabs defenses to him.

Yikes. I hope its just banter. I think some people can become enamored with big names, but I doubt those "season ticket holders" have gotten to see Shaq play much recently, or even checked his box scores. They're probably extremely rich, casual fans, who have no idea of the cap crippling effects (not to mention the serious talent downgrade) this trade offers them.

I'd like to think Rod Thorn is a heck of a lot smarter than this.

No.

I had a deal a few weeks ago, that was essentially Shaq+Davis for RJ+Collins with no Marcus, and it didn't get received too warmly by Nets fans. This is far worse.

I didn't propose it

I already said I think Miami rapes ;)

I'm just passing on the rumor. Chris Sheridan also speculated on Shaq going back to NJ a couple of days ago.
