Small MIA/ORL deal (REVISED)

Mark Blount, Alonzo Mourning to Orlando

Tony Battie, Pat Garrity to Miami

Both deals are similar, but with no Battie for the rest of the year, Miami gets to save some money and get a second round pick. Orlando gets a big this year and more offensive low post scorer.

Nope.

First of all, it doesn't work. Second of all, we already have Orlando's second rounder.

Replace Zo with Smush and I'd think about it.

EDIT: Actually, I'd do it if it's Smush instead of Zo. But I really don't want to trade Zo as filler. And Miami's not really contending this year anyway so we don't need Blount. Might as well give Barron some burn.

Pass. Zo's probably done playing, and Blount is no better than Battie.

Not in Battie's current state ;)

No from the Magic. Waiting for a year to get Battie is better than having Blount.

Its just a small salary relief, but if Battie is assured to return next season, I'll do this trade for Miami.

If the Magic are about now and they think Blount can help, then they will consider this trade. Other than that I dont see them agreeing to the trade.

no **** way
look at his defense he played yesterday
stan is making him work hard for his minutes by playing aggressive defense and look how he played yesterday not to mention he grabbed 5 rebs and got a block in 10 mins..his work ethic is really good..stan is making him be more than a shooter..not to mention cook's range > blount's range

cook is better than blount and it's not even close.

Laker fans are the only people in the world who think Blount is better. Or Toine for that matter. Ask a TWolves fan how terrible Blount is.

Toine and Blount don't have mixes online dedicated to how terrible they are ;)
