Odom/Kwame/'08 First (unprotected) for Deng/Wallace

or if the Bulls really want Gasol

Lakers Get: Deng/Wallace
Lakers Give: Odom/Kwame/'08 First (Unprotected)

Bulls Get: Gasol/Milicic/Cardinal/'08 First from Lakers
Bulls Give: Deng/TT/Wallace

Griz Get: Odom/Kwame/TT
Griz Give: Gasol/Cardinal/Milicic

Thoughts?

I don't think I like either for the Bulls. I'd probably prefer the one without Memphis out of the two because we have no use to take back Milicic and Cardinal.

I think there are better ways to help fix the Bulls. Its okay though.

I doubt Memphis trade Milicic.

What about Odom/Kwame/Radmanovic/'08 First (Unprotected)/Rights to Marc Gasol for Deng/Wallace/Smith

Plus the Bulls could throw in Khryapa if they wanted to get rid of his salary.

Odom + a little cap relief isn't going to net Deng.

The trade for Gasol is a little better, but the idea of getting a guy like Gasol would be so Deng has someone to play off of.

I'd prefer something along these lines for the Bulls:

Bulls send TT (or Noah), Noc, and Wallace.
Bulls receive Gasol, Navarro, and Radmanovic.

Grizz send Gasol, Navarro, and Brian Cardinal.
Grizz get TT (or Noah), Noc, Ariza (expiring), and Kwame (expiring).

Lakers trade Radmanovic, Ariza, and Kwame.
Lakers get Cardinal (one contract year less than Radmanovic), and Wallace.

I think the Odom/Kwame/'08 First (Unprotected) for Deng/Wallace would be the best deal for both teams. Ask Bulls6, he was on board for this trade from the get go.

bulls6 is a great poster, but because one respected poster likes the deal doesn't necessarily make it a good one. That first would be near the bottom of the first round and Odom is not as good as Deng; the only positive (other than more PT for the young guys) is that we save a lot of money, but we really aren't left with much to spend it on.

Cliff Levingston has advocated trading Nocioni + Duhon for Redick + Dooling + Garrity + Vazquez, and still does. The majority of the Bulls' fan base wouldn't make that deal.
