Carter and Magloire for J.O ???
Who wins this trade? (Wiretap)
(I dont think the nets would include Marcus Williams, he is their pg of the future)

Well I would say NJ just because their are more people who could replace Carter's production at position than there bigs who can do what JO does. Plus, he has two less years on his deal and lets say New Jersey is struggling then, they could make a run at the summer 10 class and obviously could not with both VC and Jefferson on the payroll.

both teams would.
indy would get a go to guy who is nice to pair with their tall, versatile forwards. they will now shift to a running game with vc replcaing JO.
the nets on the other hand would get a real threat down low that would move the focus of their offense from the perimeter to a more rounded offense. that would make them much harder team to defend and would put them to the elite level.

Unless the Pacers would make another move after this deal I think the Nets would win it.
This just creates a log jam for the Pacers. We have Carter/Dunleavy/Granger/Williams/Rush/Daniels all deserving of time. I love Carter, I live in NC and am a huge Tar Heel fan. Carter has been one of my favorite players since UNC, but this trade just doesn't help the Pacers in my opinion. We'd have to have another deal after this sending Dunleavy or Williams packaged with Diogu for a nice big I think.

I love this deal, even without Williams included.

I think its a fair deal for both. Kidd gets a Big man to work with and the nets get to keep jefferson. Carter fits the Pacers style and they still have Foster(and Magloire) at center, and Murhy(and diagu) at PF.

O'Neal is thinking about shutting it down this season so I'd assume the Pacers would win this deal since they get two people who can still walk.
Jermaine needs to get healthy.
