Jason Smith, Rodney Carney, Nene and a 1st doesn't net Amare.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

It could if the first is top 5, which it would be if the Sixers lost Andre Miller, their leader.

^But this is "if the Suns fall short", which would only happen at the end of the season, by which point Miller's departure wouldn't affect the Sixers' draft position one way or the other.

I really don't think Philly has the parts for Amare. Their offer would get beaten by other teams.

Ughhh...that's horrible for the Suns...Nene wouldn't work in their high tempo offense at all. Smith and Carney are barely worth Chris Wilcox, let alone Amare Stoudamire.

If the Suns fall short yet again Iggy and Dalembert MIGHT get you Amare.

Even then, I doubt it. The Suns traded away a better version of Iggy (Joe Johnson), so my feeling is that they're happy with their play on the wings.

They want to pair Amare with another decent big body, not trade him for one and downgrade to boot.

Philly has nothing that could land Amare, plain and simple.

What about a package of:

(1) Iggy
(2) Sam
(3) 2008 lottery pick

^
Suns wouldn't so it. Leaves them with no post presence on offense, and Iggy would hurt the Suns defensively because you'd have to start him over Bell.

So if the Suns want to win now or in the future, they won't trade Amare.

it's the other way around. the guy looks great because he's surrounded by Matrix and nash with him. you can get one of 2 of Dalembert and iggy, a young player, and our pick. Otherwise the sixers arn't intrested
