The GSW would be a friggin fast team that would run teams ragged with their three point shooting ability. Lewis is an upgrade over Harrington especially in that system, gives Davis a chance to make a big run in the playoffs with a legit second option in Lewis and would be a perfect addition to the Warriors (and they are both the same age) Also JJ Reddick is a perfect player for the warriors with the amount of three pointers they shoot and how many of them are open.

Why for CHI?
Chicago has been struggling with Tyrus as of Late and he is Trade rumours. The bulls acquire Brandan Wright who is a comparable prospect in terms of what he does, except he is more of an offensive then defensive talented big. Also Harrington would be a great addition to the scoring that the bulls need right now. Having Nocioni play the position of our best player leaves him fairly expendable, though Harrington replaces his output and some.

Why for Orlando
Dwight Howard is a dire need for a frontcourt partner to take the pressure of him.. Tyrus Thomas was the 2nd overall pick in last years draft and has a great deal of potential, a player like Thomas would help Howard also because of his liking to play from the hi post, allowing there to be spacing in the magic sets. Mickael Pietrus is a good defensive 2 guard, and has expressed in the media to want to play in a city near his home land . (State of Florida fulfills that). Andres Nocioni could be a great 6th man (or spot starter until Thomas develops. and brings the toughness to the table needed. A team like the Warrior needs a player like Lewis more than the Magic, and the Magic are more content with surrounding Howard with complimentary players that could make his job easier. All three of them defend extremely well and make the Magic a tough defensive team. Turkoglu has been outplaying Lewis and plays the same position and it seems like he needs a change of scenery.

No way are the Warriors taking on Rashard Lewis' colossal contract. He's just not worth it when they can keep Harrington and prospect Brandan Wright.

Also i forgot to mention the deal gives the Warriors a lot more balanced of a team in terms of the swingman situation they have.

I think Lewis would add another dimension to the warriors that Harrington does not have. the warriors are also getting JJ reddick a lottery pick in his own right. The Magic could add a 1st round pick in this years draft for the Warriors if need be..

I think that the bulls would really like some reliability at the 4 spot. and the warriors could use Lewis probably better than any other player in the league. Don Nelson really uses perimeter 4's very well (Dirk) and he would be a stud for them easily making his money

The difference between Al and Shard is not 10m and Brandan Wright.

Sometimes I really wonder where some people get these bizarre trade ideas. Orlando trading Lewis (after just signing him to that umongous contract, (hey it's your bad, you're stuck with it) and the thought that the Warriors would want him (they could have signed him themselves if they wanted him for that money) and they would want the Warriors to give up Wright to ge get another wing player in Redick who's been a bust so far. In addition they want them to give up Harrington who's having as good (if not better) season than Lewis (out rebounding and shooting higher percentages in both 2 pt and 3pt fgs). I doubt we'd trade Harringotn for Lewis straight up, not with what he's getting paid (twice Harrington).

How can we trade Sarunas when we bought him out?

If the Bulls are trading Nocioni, why do the Warriors even want ORL in the trade? Not well done at all.

This is bad on so many levels.

#1 - We're not taking on any bad contracts, and Rashard is probably one of the top 5 worst contracts in the L right now (up there with K-Mart, Hughes, BW and Shaq). He will make $22.5M a year the last 2 years of his deal. You've made your bed, now sleep in it.

#2 - We just traded a big money guy (JRich) to get Brandan, no way we trade him for a different big money guy. We love Brandan as a prospect and it would take a much better deal than this to get rid of him. Not to mention Al who's pretty good in his own right.

#3 - We don't even have Sarunas anymore.

Oh, and don't give me this crap about us getting "lottery pick" JJ Reddick. He hasn't proven anything in the league yet, and I'm not even sure I would give up the Warriors 2nd round pick for him.

If you want to think like that then we'll gladly take your non-lottery 1st round pick for "lottery pick" Patrick O'Bryant.
