Its just an idea, but maybe this is the trade that would put Toronto over the top teams.

Toronto trades:
Rasho
Kapono
Bargs

Phoenix trades:
Amare
Skinner
Banks

If Phoenix is trying to shake, they get 2 great shooters and a very capable defender in the last year of contract

A) BC wouldn't offer this to Phoenix for fear of becoming a league laughingstock.

yea, It wouldn't happen w/ out Bosh in the trade, maybe at the end of last year when Bargnani was way more valuable you might have had a chance, but not the way its been going these days...

Well if the Rumors are true and there looking to deal Amare.. there probably going to want to start to rebuild, due to the fact its the last year in Marion's contract and hes made it pretty clear he's not going to re-sign. Nash is getting old. so a trade where you get last years number 1 pick and a top 10 Pg who is only 26, with 2 1st round picks are thrown in isn't to bad of a deal... I mean this is all speculation on my part, if there not looking to move amare there's no way they do this but hey with all those rumors out there you never know.

No, they were looking to get a star of equal stature back. They're trying to win a championship now ... it would be crazy for them to rebuild with the team they have, especially considering Nash's age. If they crippled the team by trading Amare for picks and talent, and thereby ruined Nash's chance of winning a championship, the fans would riot.

Anyways, Sarver came out and said that none of their major pieces are getting moved this year. So I say this thread is m00t.

I would suggest getting a more complete picture before jumping to conclusions based on rumours and gossip. As a previous poster suggests, the Suns are obviously in rebuilding mode....

Well, it was just a trade idea, i did not mean to offend anyone, and i dont this i deserve some hostile replies

1. Salaries match (acording to ESPN trade machine)

2. i did not know that it was forbidden to post a trade idea, i apologise

3. You have asked for thoughts, and here are:

a. Amare has a well known problem of ego, and while thats a problem in a loaded team like Phoenix, Toronto would become his team
b. Phoenix would receive 3 useful players in Rasho (a capable defender to throw to Duncan), Kapono (a match made in heaven to score from bench) and Bargs (who could develop in a star and is better suited for a team like Phoenix)
c. Amare's defense would not be a problem in Toronto, or at least a downgrade. It would be a great duo with Bosh, one playing close to the rim and the other one in the perimeter.
d. The finantial side could make this trade good for Phoenix, since they unload Banaks and Rasho is in the last year of his contract (remember how they unload draft picks)
c. Calderon would not be a good fit, since they would not want to overpay por a backup

A backup PG (3rd string for the Suns), a backup C a questionnable young player and 2 1st round picks that they'd just as likely sell as use for their one inside presence? I doubt that.

I know the Suns are pinching but this would make them terribly one dimensional and derail whatever chances they may have of competing for a title.

Stoudemire isn't perfect but he's worth more than spare parts and a softish jump shooting Bargnani.

Wow...even if the Suns were willing to deal Amare (all reports to the contrary) this wouldn't even be close to enough.
