I can't imagine the Lakers being willing to take on Kenny and Ben's contracts in the same deal, even if Radmanovic goes the other way. MAYBE one of them, but not both...that's a lot of committed money for older, badly struggling players. (I don't see them trading Odom for Artest/KT either.)

Kings say yes. If the Bulls are looking to dump Wallace, this is a decent package although Rad doesn't really help them unless they are freeing up time for Thomas. Lakers take on way to much salary and then even more if they resign Artest. Lakers pass.

Well most laker fans are pretty opposed to Odom/Kwame/Radman at this point. AT least with this deal you bring in 2 pieces that would potentially be strong contributors. And Kenny just replaces Radman on the bench.

Agreed. It's basically the Lakers making two deals in one:
1. Odom for Artest + Thomas
2. Vlad + Kwame for Wallace
Number 2 has been discussed to death and may or may not be acceptable depending on the Lakers' frame of mind. Cliff Levingston can't see any circumstance where they'd be willing to make trade #1 outside of "Odom decapitated in train crash."

Moving Ben Wallace?
The Bulls reluctantly accept.

Who would the Kings be trading Odom to after this deal since he doesn't fit into their long term plans?
