Andre Igoudala 09 utah first 010 First
For
Micheal Doleac
08 first rounder Minnesota.
Why For minnesota: I know, I know you want that pick bad. But here's the thing. You guys get a young legit 2nd option on your team with this, and a decent Utah Pick, and a 010 sixers first. The Sixers will still be mediocre in 010
Why For Sixers: The Sixers get a 08 first rounder, that will be top 5 guranteed. Also, they get more cap room this offseason. Also think of it this way, let's say the sixers are in love with jordan, but he's gonna go at number 5 and there at 11. So they have to give up Iggy, their pick and 09 first. Why not instead have to top 5 picks and not have to trade up for them beyond this?
scary when you feel like your gonna get ripped but don't know which side from.

Wow. If this pick is unprotected then the Sixers HAVE to accept. If it's protected though, I think the Sixers pass. Outside of the Top 2 picks in this draft (Beasley and Rose), I don't know that the Sixers will acquire a player worth Iguodala and two future 1st round picks.

Unprotected is what I think it should be, Wolves fans will talk me into having it be unprotected. I think they should like it, I mean they get iggy, a pick and a pick?

Cant see Minny making the deal. Lets say the pick is top two, and they could have gotten a talent at way cheaper price, those are the deals that don't help teams.

Why wouldn't they do this? I mean i know that the pick my produce a good talent, but Igoudala is a good player, plus two decent picks. The sixers pick could turn out to be late teens to better. Minnesota isn't the one worrying about whether they got a deal

Its tempting but ultimately I think MN passes. Iggy is a great talent, but MN still has high hopes for McCants and Brewer, and Gomes might be resigned as well. Couple that with Foye probably playing at least some minutes at SG, and the wing is pretty well covered in MN.
Also, I think there will be some MN fans concerned with the type of extension Iggy will demand.
Personally, I would be willing to discuss a package that starts with our pick and Theo's expiring contract for Iggy and Dally, but that's just me. A lot of MN fans arent as high on Dally as I am.

Minny will pass. Iguodala may be good, but 2 and 3 are the positions Minny can worry about the least. The priority is to find a good complement big for Al
If they use the lotto pick to land Derrick Rose, then they might be open for a trade involving Foye and Smith

Iggy is the kind of second-tier star that would be good enough to keep Minnesota out of the top 5 of the draft, but bad enough that they'll never to be a serious contender. Minnesota would be much better off rolling the dice on the draft. It's higher risk but higher reward.

Its too soon for MIN to consider Iggy. Wait until Summer 2009, and MIN will have an idea if any of their cheap lottery swingmen are going to play the Iggy role.

I think Minny would pass as well, they still have to resign Big Al and Iggy's making crazy demands I'd stay away
