I just want to prove a point to a certain Twolves fan so please try to come up with something realistic and fair for both sides if at all possible. If the Twolves need to add further incentive feel free to add it in so that the deal works.

If you can't understand that the basis of rejecting that trade isn't about value, but fit, I don't think I can help you.

If you can't understand that the basis of accepting that trade isn't about fit but about value then I don't think I can help you.

imo m.daniels and any pacer filler (if necessary) is the right deal.

as much as jaric's contract is long - it doesn't hurt the pacers in any way.
but jaric's durability (defenetly compared to daniels), his versatility and overall game, would benefit indiana a lot imo.

i think the wolves should add a 2nd rd pick and defenetly cash.
this move basicaly perfects the wolves' rebuilding plan and cap management strategy.
well worth a 2nd rd pick...

#1 Knickfan Are you agreeing or disagreeing with this trade?

#1 knickfan made the post because he doesn't understand a logic.

He's trying to demonstrate Jaric + Doleac have negative value. However, from this he's trying to show that Eddy Curry would be worth more.

Sadly, this is a like a guy saying:

"Is -10 below zero?"

See! This proves -10 is colder than -30!

Are you saying that Curry is not worth more than Jaric+Doleac because I am not trying to show that Eddy has more trade value. I know he has more trade value. Everyone knows he has more trade value. Everyone except for certain people who shall go nameless.

I'm saying you don't understand logic.

You designed a test that doesn't prove what you intend.

I'm not surprised from a guy who's evidence is that he just keeps repeating logical fallacies like: "Everyone knows it!"

Wow -- you've overwhelmed us all with your brilliant discourse. Well if "Everyone knows it" .. heck, that's as good as proof -- in second grade.

Well done, sir!

Are you suggesting that swapping out a 2 year contract for a 4 year contract isn't going to hurt the Pacers in anyway?

Before you answer that question.....be sure to look at how many 6+ mil long-term contracts that the Pacers have that last until the 2010-2011 season. Unless the TWolves somehow slip $12 mil "under the table" to the Pacers to buyout Jaric or take on Jamaal Tinsley or Troy Murphy in this trade......your trade of Marquis Daniels+filler for Jaric would make ZERO sense for the Pacers from a Financial POV.

*sigh* the trade was bad for both teams. Value out of the way. And also, you shouldnt bias the sample by throwing in "im trying to prove a point". Now people are gonna throw stupid low ball offers or extreme over offers.
