Phoenix doesn't want or need Carter, and they're certainly not going to give up Raja in a Carter trade even if they somehow wanted to acquire him.

two things:
1) PHX does not want to trade the ATL pick because they need some fresh blood on the team and they don't have a first rounder for a while after this.
2)I think this would be more realistic if you took out the ATL pick and vince and had richard jefferson going to PHX. Because nets management is in love with carter because him and kidd are the only attractions to the games. also, RJ thrives in a running game and he would help the suns defense considerably.

Problem with that though, the Nets seemingly want to move Kidd or Carter before RJ.

Regarding the pick, would it make more sense to instead of sending the pick itselft send swap rights.

Meaning Nets get the better of the two picks (their own and the Sun's - Hawks pick)?

That way Phoenix still keeps a first.

Right now they aren't too far apart in value.

Raja to the Grizz AND waive CJ - dream trade PMI. I just don't see Phoenix parting with Bell...
