Why for Orlando: Add a solid big man who had some success in Orlando.

Why for Atlanta: Get rid of Zaza who isn't playing and is becoming a distraction. Add an expiring contract in Garrity.

i thaught zaza was playing well last year?? what happend?? well the magic definately have never used a 2nd rounder for any good and you can have garrity... if zaza can contribute at all we'll take him

Zaza was playing well last year but has put up terrible stats this year. He only has 1 year and 4 million left on his contract so its not a bad risk to take to see if he just needs a change in scenery. I think that Altanta would prefer the caproom so I think they would do this trade. Its one that I have suggested before.

Zaza is better than Garrity. And I will still do this. But it really doesn't do anything. Zaza has been a nobody this year.

Looks like one of those trades that nobody's particularly happy with, but gets done anyway because it's practical.

I think Za could contribute. He and Coach Woody don't get along and his subbing patterns haven't helped ZZP recover from an early season concussion. Atl gets some cap room and a chance to grab a bench player in the draft, Orl gets a guy who has been a capable scorer and offensive rebounder in the past and is still young.

If this is the most value BK can find, he might as well do it.
