Jose calderon for Balkman, fred jones, and mardy collins.....NY probably should give them some cash too....Calderone is a free agent to be, So NY would have to match any offer he gets....But hes definatly gonna be worth 8 mill or so something the knicks would give...i dont know how many other teams would.

Yeah I agree no chance we even touch this deal. New York gets wayyyyyyyyyyy too much for wayyyyyyy too little there is nobody outside maybe Wilson Chandler and Lee I would trade Calderon for on the Knicks.

Colangelo: Hello
Isiah: hi Bryan, boy have i got a trade for you
Colangelo: Isiah I told you yesterday to stop calling me theres nothing that you have besides First Round Draft Picks in the lottery for the next 5 years that I want.
Isiah: Balkman, Fred Jones, and MardyCollins for Jose Calderon
Colangelo: hmmmm thats very intriguing, throw in two First Rounders and its done.
Isiah: but I have already traded the one this year.
Colangelo: hmmmm ill think about it and get back to you later. [hangsup]

Colangelo: Maurizio have i gotta funny story for u Isiah just tried to get Calderon again for 3 scrubs.
Maurizio: did u tell him ud think about it just to get his hopes up?
Colangelo: yes, yes i did [grin]

Isiah: Hello
Colangelo: I ran your offer by Maurizio, he really liked it, but I just couldnt do it without this years and the 2010 draft picks.
Isiah: ahhh crap, what about if I throw in some stogies?
Colangelo: how about David Lee for Darrick Martin?
Isiah: really? really? DONE!!!
Colangelo: great, you do the paper work and send it to me. [hangs up]

Colangelo: i just got David Lee for one of our Point Guards
Maurizio: omg u never traded TJ or Jose for David Lee???!!!!!!!!
Colangelo: hell no i traded Darrick Murray for David Lee
Maurizio: you think the NBA is gonna let Isiah do that?
Colangelo: they shouldnt but its Isiah im sure they are laughing as much as us.

LMFAO. Unless a team is willing to offer a top 10 SG, SF, C... or quality prospect/draft pick the Raps won't even consider it.

You're and too. It's hard to take posts seriously when they have second grade grammar.

The trade is awful, Raptors easily pass. You're not giving Calderon enough credit. I can't think of a trade with the Knicks involving Calderon that I would actually do.

Man, I've noticed you underrate Calderon. I wouldn't trade him for any package right now that most teams could offer for him. He's that damn good.

As a proud Yankee fan I happily accept that deal.

As for the deal itself, I like it but part of me would prefer to deal for Ford. He's more expensive and has some injury concerns so I think he can be had for a lesser price (value wise) than Calderon. Considering Calderon is a free agent after the end of the year I wouldn't want to risk losing him for nothing.
