This is where you will post all your transactions, with a RealGM Trade Checker link to show that the trades work, or if dealing with players not on your team at the beginning of the game, the subsequent math to show that the deal does in fact work.
Plz post your rumours/blocks in the Roster thread, and a 12 hour waiting period which allows vetoes to be put in place on deals will be instated. Since people are new, I will give them the benefit of doubt, and for the deals made last night, they have until 12 PM EST to veto. Otherwise both deals so far are accepted. Trading can fully begin now.

I mistakenly confirmed the deal above. The guy misinformed me about the protection of the knicks pick. I was so excited about the trade below, I briefly glanced over accidentally confirming. I'm willing to pay a 2nd rounder for my carelessness, even though I was the one scammed, I believe I owe the guy above for pulling a fast one.
The sixers have also traded
Andre Miller For Ira Newbie Eric Snow and 2 firsts.

It was mentioned in a previous post, but I wanted to make sure it was noticed.
Cleveland trades Eric Snow, Ira Newble, #1 in 2008, #1 2010 (top 3)
Philadelphia Trades Andre Miller

I have the Bobcats, not sure if I have much to give up but I'd love to have Miller next to Okafor.

Just for the new people, you have to post your trade with a breakdown like Raptors90210 did. And any talks about trading players goes on the roster page AFTER all the teams rosters are posted. Or at least that how it was run before.

That's how I plan for it now, but people who are slow with rosters might have some rumours posted before them. I'd really like for those rumours to go after guys, so get going on those rosters.

Guys so our current veto system is if 3 people veto the trade within 12 hours of it being posted it is rejected. I added a poll to see if you guys like the veto system, or would rather get rid of it.

I would like to submit a veto for the Iguodala to Utah trade.
Iguodala is a bonafide young star already and the value for him in this trade is really piss poor. Essentially, they get Brewer [who is alrite but just a role player], and 2 1sts. However, the NYK 1st is one they won't see until 2010 for sure and the Utah 1st will be a low one in 2012. Both are a long time away. All in all, the talent disparity is far too great between Brewer and Iggy and the picks are too far away for this to be a fair trade IMO. Now, if the Jazz added their 08 1st then it's fair enough to not deserve a veto IMO
oh, and iguodala is expiring, but the only team that will have enough cap to give any mroe than the MLE is Philly so hwo that wont even matter

Since we're still midseason do we have to worry about roster limits when making trades?

Midseason is when you should be worrying about roster limits. Limit is 15.

I don't understand, Igoudala is NOT a bonafide young star. heis at most a 2nd or 3rd option. I also if still need be could sign him as a free agent this offseason, because I will have the cap room. I also get them to take on my personal Cardinal contract in green. I like brewer as apotential starter, and this also allows Young Carney and dalembert a better shot. The picks I acquired can be a great assest in acquiring a resal star like we saw 2 days ago in the Gasol trade. I get a prospect I personally like better then crittenton. Brewer is 22 and if he was in this years draft he would be a top 10 pick. He really will get a chance to start and play good minutes. I really like the what I've gotten for him. I think it's better then what our franchised got for Allen Iverson or for what the grizzlies got for Pau Gasol. Veto it if you want, but it's not a bad trade.

As for the Philly/Utah deal, I don't think its a horrible deal. While I think the Jazz certainly get the best of it I don't think it is so one sided that it deserves a veto.

that knicks pick could still be top 5. look at greens contract.
When I made this posts, as well as the one above I still believe I had the knicks 09 pick unconditionally.

No veto on the Utah - Philadelphia trade. I agree that Utah got the better of it but it's not so one-sided as to justify a veto.

+1
there is no justification that Iggy will even be as effective in the west, he is a 2nd tier supporting star that can put up 18/8/5 on good nights and play good defense, but hardly is this deal lopsided, Brewer is no franchise player, but not as if he's Darius Miles
