Phoenix gets a mobile, young big who can play the pick-and-roll and shoot from 18 ft in Frye. Blake is a solid back-up, Nash lite. Solid passer, great shooter, adequate defender. The Memphis 2nd rounder is better than a late 1st for them since it isn't guaranteed. They also get a 2nd rounder next year.

Brian Cardinal

2008 1st from Atlanta via Phoenix
Portland is looking to pare it's roster and upgrade the PG position. Ben Gordon fits in perfectly next to Roy.
Portland get's another mid 1st round pick which they can package with their own to get to move up in the draft or they can get two solid players mid-first round.
Diaw is a solid team player who would do well in Portland's system. Cardinal would be bought out. Taking on his contract is not such a big deal since all the holes on the roster would be filled. Additonally it looks increasingly likely that Miles will take medical retirement and free up a lot of salary cap space before 09. Duhon has an ending contract.
