Memphis/Miami/New Orleans

Post#1 » by quazi31 » Wed Jun 10, 2009 2:54 am

memphis trades:marc gasol/3 million dollars
memphis receives:beasley/#20 pick

rubio doesnt want to go to them so they pick thabett and with thabett you cant have marc so they move him for the best young pf they can

miami trades:beasley
miami receives:marc gasol
miami wants a good c and he is on a cheap contract but while beasley might be a superstar, marc is going to be a very good c in days to come

new orleans trades:#20 pick
new orleans receives:3 million dollars

cap space is the reason why

then memphis drafts thabett with the #2 pickand collison with the #20 pick

thoughts?

I don't really want to give up Gasol2.0, but this is good value for him.

Thabeet is in no way ready to start in the NBA!

Maybe Memphis could move the #2 to the Lakers for Bynum.

I love Marc Gasol just as much as the next guy, but Wallace/Heisley would be foolish to not trade him straight up for Beasley were dumb enough to offer a deal ike that.

Miami throws up in its mouth a little before passing. :eek1:
