Raps and Spurs Blockbuster Manu for Matrix

Matrix wants a ring. He likes the warm weather, he's something the Spurs don't have.

Manu is getting older. Has been slowed by injuries (missed the playoffs) and may not have endeared himself to Spur management by playing in the Olympics (apparently).

I say the Raps sign and trade Matrix to the Spurs for Manu.

This move fills the Raps biggest hole: a slashing shooting guard. Manu is the sg the raps have missed ever since VC turned into a baby and was traded.

The Spurs now have Mason, Hill and Udoka and could easily attract someone like a Grant Hill via Free Agency to fill in for Manu.

The Spurs are not gonna trade Manu for Matrix and the Raps are not gonna trade Bosh or Bargnani for Manu so it's a dead idea.
