You can take Walter Sharpe off our hands. Anything will do. Now, I have no idea how tough he is...

Trade for Matt Carroll, he is the epitome of toughness.

Nocioni is a notorious 'TOUGH' player and is available I would imagine.

no way do they do that deal however maybe something on the lines of.

Joey Graham $3,441,104 (QO, expiring contract)
Hump 3,200,000

for

Andres Nocioni 7,500,000

Other than that unless its a 3 team deal i dont see it happening.

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

You want some toughness how about Jamaal Tinsley he's a badass! Good player too gets in lots of fights off court and not afraid to mix it up! JT 2 2nd round picks for Banks and Humph.

Evans definitely helps and was a great move by the Raps. Yes, Nocioni would help as well. Surprised that the Raps didn't try to get Dejuan Blair when he started free falling. He would have helped too. Tough players (that can play) are not in great abundance nowadays though and plenty of teams could use guys like that. Maybe bring in someone as an assistant that can help bring some of that out of the guys you have right now? Toughness is just as much physical as it is a frame of mind and having someone in the lockerroom that can preach that may help.

This one fits the bill if the Raptors have given up on retaining Bosh.

Toronto trades:

Chris Bosh
6-10 PF from Georgia Tech
22.7 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 2.5 apg in 38.0 minutes

Toronto receives:

Gerald Wallace
6-7 SG / SF from Alabama
16.6 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 2.7 apg in 37.6 minutes

Joel Przybilla
7-1 C from Minnesota
5.5 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 0.3 apg in 23.8 minutes

2010 1st from Portland-unprotected

Wallace and Przybilla are both bad-asses. Great defenders and rebounders.

Charlotte trades:

Gerald Wallace
6-7 SG / SF from Alabama
16.6 ppg, 7.8 rpg, 2.7 apg in 37.6 minutes

Emeka Okafor
6-10 PF / C from Connecticut
13.2 ppg, 10.1 rpg, 0.7 apg in 32.8 minutes

Charlotte receives:

Chris Bosh
6-10 PF from Georgia Tech
22.7 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 2.5 apg in 38.0 minutes

Travis Outlaw
6-9 SF from Starkville (HS)
12.8 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 1.0 apg in 27.7 minutes

$3 million from Portland

Charlotte gets the best player in the deal. This trade assumes an extension is pre-negociated with Bosh. Outlaw is a decent replacement for Wallace.

Portland trades:

Travis Outlaw
6-9 SF from Starkville (HS)
12.8 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 1.0 apg in 27.7 minutes

Joel Przybilla
7-1 C from Minnesota
5.5 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 0.3 apg in 23.8 minutes

$3 million to Charlotte

2010 1st to Toronto-unprotected

Portland receives:

Emeka Okafor
6-10 PF / C from Connecticut
13.2 ppg, 10.1 rpg, 0.7 apg in 32.8 minutes

With this move Portland gets itselft the best PF-C rotation in the league.

So nice of you to remove the protection on the PDX pick, how gracious.
It just amazes me that some Portland fans still propose trades like this with the thought they are even close to fair or have a chance of happening.

You don't just think it's a Andre Miller S&T?

I think the Raps should take a good hard look at AI.

I think this would be the best choice for the Kings and Raptors. Noc is expendable now that we have drafted Casspi. With Thomas and Graham we would have close to $12 mil in expirings to sign someone next summer or best case a S&T for Turk for expirings. And Noc has the freakishly good decreasing salary so it is not such a big cap hit to Toronto and increases their toughness.

Any team looking to get tougher needs to take a good look at Jason Maxiell. The Raps just got Evans, so he's not ideal there anymore, but Maxiell is as tough as it gets, and extremely aggressive. He's afraid of NO ONE in this league.

Got a slightly bloated deal, but if you need a tougher front court, he's your guy.

I'd imagine so are guys like Bass and Millsap.

I think Kleiza would be a good fit in TOR. He's an aggressive offensive player, and can play 2-4. He's pretty much a non factor on D though.
