Webster, Blake, Outlaw, 2010 1st 2012 1st (both top 8 protected)

for

Steve Nash

Obvious for Portland.

Phoenix gets young pieces to help the rebuild. Nash would be a serviceable starter, or a good backup if they're able to find the one they want to build around. Webster and Outlaw are both young, and Travis and Steve both expire.

How bad is Phoenix getting jobbed?

Nash is certainly a future HOF.

However, he is not what Portland needs. Besides age, Nash plays no defense and turns the ball over too much - the very things that coach Nate despises and what the Blazers want to avoid.

In recent head-to-head games, Blake actually out-performed Nash.

Portland can do much better.

Not with the picks. We are the ones taking on that contract that. Could the Suns get better than Blake one year deal, Outlaw one year deal and Martells affordable deal?
