the Spurs get either cap relief or a help at center for RJ. The Blazers and Clippers get their missing SF
SA TRADES: Richard Jefferson
POR TRADES: Blake, Outlaw
or
LAC TRADES: Camby, Filler

The Clippers are trying to give away Thornton and Telfair for cap space, but you think they'll give up Camby for Richard Jefferson? Don't think this has any legs with either team.

Portland is thanking its lucky stars it didn't pull the trigger on the Jefferson trade last year. They don't want him now. Kevin Pritchard has said in several interviews recently that the best moves he made last season were the ones he didn't make (i.e. not trading for Vince Carter or Richard Jefferson). The team has Batum and Webster, both of whom are playing as well as Jefferson at a fraction of the cost. They don't need a SF.

Gotta love the misconceptions concerning Richard Jefferson..He is doing exactly what we expected him to do...to be the 4th option. Sure he hasn't been the best of defenders but what he brought to our offense has made its mark..Of course his raw per game stats are not going to look shiny on a team with 5 players in double digit scoring averages for the season..

That's fine. But he makes an arse load of money for someone who's producing at that level. There's no way the Clippers or the Blazers would be interested at this point.
