I think they view him as a guy that you can play with Bam at the start of games and in stretches. Bam would almost become the 4.
But that's the thing, I don't think we should be paying 16-18mil for someone who's going to be playing limited minutes at the start of games and the 3rd quarter. Would much prefer to somehow get Harrison Barnes and pay him that much. Someone who might actually play over PJ in the playoffs or who could also play minutes at SF if needed.
id obviously prefer Harrison Barnes, but don't think you can get that for just Duncan... that's the point of giving it to Bamba, you are spending it anyway.
