The help is on the roster. They just all need to play better. Did the Heat not go out and sign and trade for Lowry, the Godfather to his daughter? And pay him 85 million last season? He needs come in healthy and in shape, and do what he was acquired to do. Is Bam not a max player? He needs to assert himself offensively, and show another level of shot creating ability. In actual NBA games, and not at Miami Pro-AM. Tyler Herro? Gotta show he’s a consistent night in/night out starter, and show marked improvement and awareness on the defensive end.

And from there you got some relatively quality Supporting pieces:, Oladipo (major wild card) , Caleb, Strus, Gabe, Duncan, Dedmon.


We’ve got a good team, man. Not a consensus Vegas favorite, but a real good team nonetheless. If you deluded yourself thinking some seismic trade for a star was realistic based on what the Heat could realistically trade, that’s on you bubba. They will be in the fight.

Do people not understand it takes two sides to make a deal? We cant simply “choose” to bring in any player we want, their team has to want what we are selling. I cant wait for camp to open and all this whining and crying is outta yalls systems.

Didn’t ICC say after the Knicks made that extension that Utah immediately contacted us to up our offer. That clearly indicates they were interested. Whether it was in good faith or not is another question but the notion that they contacted us tells us they wanted to work out a deal.

The other aspect we are not mentioning are the horrible optics for this front office. I get it, some people dont think highly of Jimmy, he’s not Wade, he’s not Lebron, but dude has gotten us to the finals and was a one man army these past playoffs. Think about that future disgruntled player, he looks at how we honestly haven’t gone all in on Jimmy, what would make player X think they would go all in for him, if they wont for Jimmy and what he has accomplished her thus far? Reputations can be destroyed overnight, thats reality. We are playing with fire here.

What a mess. Thank God its officially over. Every team In the east either got healthier or better. If Herro, Oladipo, Lowry, Duncan, Bam, etc all improve, we can still be one of the top seeds. At this point, we can also just as easily be in the play in. Who knows.

It depends on luck and health. One major advantage we have is our role players are reliable and can step up when needed in the Regular Season.
