Spo should just start Jovic. Just let the kid feed off Butler and Bam and rip wide open 3’s and drop dimes.

He can’t start with Lowry and Herro for defensive purposes but if not for that he’d have a legit shot

Really impressed with Cain, its like another Caleb martin, waiting on the sidelines to get groomed. Another glue guy sitting at the end of the bench ready to blossom.

Lol at Heat scouting and development knocking it out of the park again with Jovic, Cain, Highsmith and Smith. Literally every year we will unearth some rotation worthy prospects out of freaking Kathmandu.

Edit: And this coming off Strus, Caleb, Yurt and Vincent last year. The program really kicked into to overdrive

Cain looks like he is all fast twitch muscle...like an uncontrollable spring out there. However Garret just has a defensive instinct that is really elite, but Cain can be taught and his ability to score looks to be better.

I prefer Cain & Smith to Garrett.

Garrett has the ability to be an off the bench defensive role-player and a great player to go against in practice for players needing to work on their handles.

Miami does have a roster spot open.

I expect one of our players to be signed before the end of the season so that bird rights can be locked. We've done the same move for several seasons.

I didn't catch the game, but I saw some highlights.

I really like Jovic's game. He is raw, but he has talent, height, and is a great ball handler and passer. He, Bam, and Yurt really give us options at the 4 and 5. Hell, we can go big if we really have to and do something like (Lowry, Butler, Jovic, Bam, and Yurt). Not saying that's an ideal lineup for everything, but for spots its an option that we have because at the 4 and 5 we have 2 tall players that can handle the ball and make passes. I think our best starting lineup is going to have Bam at the 4 and Yurt at the 5. It checks all the boxes. Jovic should get some backup minutes and some time with Bam on the floor.

Another note: Duncan is fixing to overtake Max in the lineup. He looks a little bulkier and he is def more willing to put the ball down and go towards the rim.

I know that scouting is working wonders, creating competition makes for a better team, Pat and spo have hands full... but take it easy guys with your expectations for new players all we really need is a consistent offensive output

...I like where we have been defensively in the past few years, you could almost say that we have " over done it"

... I know that defense is supposed to "win championships"... but take into consideration...

the only time we had a great offensive team since LeBron left, was when we got to the finals

Loved what I saw from Duncan. Besides the shot dropping he looks quicker and more decisive. The whole offense as a whole was on the attack.

Cain looked good need to see more. Also like Bouyea and Days minutes. Lowry was nice.

Jovic was the star of the show mainly because he doesnt look phased or lost in the moment. He came to work. Lets not break his game and let him evolve into what he is going to be instead of forcing him to be something he is not.

Garret is not spectacular enough to invest more in and neither is Highsmith. Also time to cut bait on Dedmon. We are not running a charity. Spo is going to have a hard time breaking his habits and getting these guys some minutes. Jimmy shouldnt have to do too much heavy lifting until the playoffs.
