You are probably right. I don't trust Spo to play big. But Martin brings nothing to the offense with the starters. He will be left open and I don't think he can thrive as primarily a spot up shooter every night. Defense will sag off him.

He shot 41.3% from three last year on 2.4 attempts per game. Both numbers were basically identical to what PJ put up, and they had our two biggest shooting percentages from 3.

When you watch Caleb last year did you really think of him as a shooter? The percentage he was knocking down treys did you think it would last? And do you think its something he can hold up at a higher volume. Because the role he is playing he will be presented primarily with a high volume of treys. I don't see Martin shooting that well ever again especially in a bigger shooting role.

It doesn’t matter what we thought, was Caleb a good shooter last year? Yes. Did his percentages hold up for the season? Yes. He looks even better this year.

I’m still shocked at smith over Bouyea, Bouyea easily outplayed him when given the opportunity. He’ll be the next guy we bring in after we make some roster adjustments with the guards

Bam (3 games) and Herro (2 games) preseason stats adjusted to playing 4 quarters:

Bam: 28.4-5.7-4 on 18FGA 1.3 3FGA 11 FTA 58%/33%/68% shooting splits.

I need those 3 attempts up to 3, rebounding will
Increase when we actually play defense and the free throw percentage I need at 80%-85%. The correct scoring and shooting attempts overall are there though. Playmaking has been great and obviously he’s doing it while being the best defender in the world.

Herro: 30-6.7-3.3 on 19.3FGA 8 3FGA 5.3FTA 52%/58%/100% shooting splits.

Obviously the efficiency will drop but I like the increase in free throws. I’d like to see him get to 7 attempts. Flirting with the 50-40-90 club would go a long way for Herro.

This was by far the very worst lineup of the night.

A shame cause it has potential but Dipo is not on that level yet where he's like a Wade and can maximize the shooters by being completely dominant as a slasher

I have to say this...dipo doesn't have a chance to be even close to wade level, maybe he had some chances when he was 24, 25 or 26

And I'm not even the typical super Wade fan

Hmm. Not even Chicago level Wade? You're probably right. Wade just had a way with the ball that was truly awesome.

I'm not that familiar with Dipos game anymore. Let's see what happens.
