Nah not for this team. They're not good enough for title or bust.

Side note, I really...reallllly.... like Caleb Martin. Wish to heck he could just come off the bench and be a spark plug like a micro Birdman.
He’d be so much better off the bench. It’s one reason I’d love to see us either acquire a real PF, or play Jovic there as a spot starter.

Not great. Spo played him a C. I don’t believe he’s a C, more like a PF.

Tbf he got the rookie treatment and got hosed on a lot of calls. But I agree, he’s not a C and shouldn’t be at this level. He should be a 4. Spo’s love affair of playing every player up a position means he’s a 5 in Spo’s eyes.
If he adds a ton of weight over the next couple years, he could play the 5. But right now, he’s gonna foul a lot given the weight disparity.
Even though the stats won’t say much, he was OK in his debut. He generally was in the right spots and for whatever reason, the team played better when he was on the court. He just knows how to play. Hopefully he as he gets the first game jitters out and starts to adjust to the pace of the league, we’ll see some nice moments from him.

Was he guarding Nurkic? Looking at the Yahoo game log it seems like he must have been. Nurkic must out weight him by nearly a hundred pounds.
As for playing people up a position that seems backwards to me. I would think you would play them down a position to have a height advantage but I guess he is hoping for a speed advantage.

Heat usually get their act together on the road and I believe we have 3 of the top 4 players in this matchup so I'm going to go with our Boyz.
Heat 125 - Blazers 101
24 point win.
