Seems like it was a close game, we played hard and came up short. Nothing really bad about that.

I thought that was ironic.

Losing to the Nuggets isn't a reason to scrap the team. They will probably finish top in the West and have a deep playoff win. If we are lucky we might play them again, but it would be a bad series for us unless Kyle Lowry saves us.

I want to see what we got with Dipo back, Jovic, and Yurt. Lowry has been so bad, he can stay on ice for a while and heal or lose weight or whatever. I hoped we pick up Reggie Jackson, but he wants to join Denver. There's John Wall and Patrick Beverley. Just want some vets finally instead of all these undrafted players getting a huge amount of minutes. They're alright in a pinch and can surprise us, but they always regress to the mean.

We had injuries to significant players, but still, it's not a good sign to have the highest amount of close games in the NBA and by a significant margin at that.

How is a team so desperate for depth not making any moves for more depth? Anyone would help at this point. I understand that you can’t expect management to win over all free agents or trade deals, but they aren’t getting anyone other than undrafted players.

I had to look this up real quick, but the Heat haven't beat Denver since Aug 1st, 2020. That's pretty nuts.

I would trade Bam, Butler Herro and 5 first round picks unprotected for Jokic.. hes that good.. and the nuggets would hang up the phone.. they know hes that damn good.. im rewatching his highlights.. good lord, just give him the MVP again. There isnt a player in this league that is as skillful as he is. When hes looking to score, he makes it effortless.. when he wants to pass.. i dont think theres a better passer of the ball in the NBA. He makes his teammates better..

( thumbs down )

Strus continues his contemporary shooting pattern. We took two quarters. Maybe Herro would have put us over the top. Almost a triple dubb for Butler.

Pretty good metrics overall. Nice numbers for Bouyea. Not bad work, team.

I can't believe that the Heat/Bam waited till 3mins left in the game to attack Jokic one on one, Bam was just standing passively the whole game waiting for mid rangers instead of attacking Jokic the whole game to get him in foul trouble. Off course Jokic is going to take a giant dump on your whole team when you don't attack him, terrible coaching/player IQ. Guys like Anthony Davis have success against Jokic cause they attack him back you can't let him rest on defense that's insanity.

Bouyea looks legit seems like he can get into the lane whenever (Heat need this) and decent shooter/defender massive bright spot I'd start him and let him play.

Agreed we should have won both games, or at least could have, but saying the Nuggets arent that good is a bad assessment. They lead the NBA in shooting percentage and demonstrated that last night. They shot 57% against us and when they are hitting shots at that clip, its hard to beat. Glad the defense got better in the second half as they were shooting over 65% in the first.

Man Denver has the type of center that plays winning basketball, like future hall of fame, top 10 type of center when all set and done. If Denver had a top 5 wing scorer on the team, they would be pretty unbeatable in a playoff game, with good defenders all around and deep bench that can hit the 3ball.
