I dont understand how people think that we are a PJ Tucker away from contending. This team is not what it was last year. If a PJ Tucker type player would've made a huge difference im sure the FO would have pulled the trigger. They probably realized no trade would've made a big difference and decided to wait until the offseason when Lowry's contract is worth more and we have more picks to get something better in return.

That being said i still hope we get a 4 on the buyout market. You never know how things evolve the in the playoffs and with some luck and a injury here and there to the top teams we can make the ECF.

But to me this feels like a first round exit at the moment.

We need rim pressure. No one is beating their man off the dribble and making the defense react. Jimmy can beat his man but he does it with strength not speed so defenders don't overreact and collapse, they are always able to recover.

I also think having Herro on the ball more hurts our shooting. I feel like I've noticed his shooting as a ball handler is much worse than him as a catch and shoot guy. You put the ball in Herro's hands in the PnR then he becomes the primary facilitator and not on the perimeter taking open 3's.

This why I want to add Wall. Yes he can't shoot 3's but in the PnR you can't guard both Wall and Bam without leaving our shooters open and Wall still a great facilitator. This would allow Herro to play more off ball and take higher percentage shots and unlike Westbrook I think Wall is open to be coached and focus on way's he can be effective.

Herro spent the 1st half taking catch and shoot 3s or force a shot with the shot clock running out, we saw how that went. BUt I do agree with need for shooting overall. The paint was way too crowded at times last night.

Missed the game but why did Bam only get 10 fga? Gabe and Strus are both at 12 for the game.

Looks like we're reverting back to our old ways. These role players aren't going to step up in the post season.

The most important thing to get out of this game is that since we won, the papa johns code should work and today is the Super Bowl so everyone is happy

1 of his attempts was considered an attempt as he was stripped going towards the basket when in reality it was just a dead ball, another was a 45 foot chuck from 3 at the end up the buzzer so he technically had 8 attempts. We may never learn
