Another must win game, another statement game and Jimmy with 10 shots. Honestly that tells you all you need to know.

He didn't even need to dribble just put up a damn shot. Even fake and shoot.....something, anything. He wanted nothing to do w/ competing at that point and just chucked it up as he drained the clock. Easier for a hail mary than to attempt a vital shot. Besides he absolutely can create for himself.
There was also another possession where he caught it close to left side short corner in the 4th while we're down w/ space to operate inside but simply passed it w/out even looking at the rim. He absolutely took that possession off. Replay the 4Q and watch that play. Not a killer....a complete PUSSY
That’s who he is offensively. He is a third/fourth option on offense. Jimmy and Tyler are supposed to be 1 and 2 but well…
I don't take it as an option thing, i see it as Bam, being one of our leaders, displaying to the team heart & fight which, again, he was not willing to show at a crucial time. I don't give a damn if he misses the shot but if there's toughness, intent & determination behind it that's what counts. Instead he took plays off like it's perfectly fine.
Again, i don't necessarily mind losses, esp this season in which seeing the pattern somebody posted is a down season. I do want to see heart & grit regardless the result.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Thanks at least we're another game closer to the end of this horrid season...
I must admit I fell asleep at the wheel during halftime haha, woke up and checked the score and it was pretty much exactly as I expected. This team has no heart and it's getting really hard to watch them play like the games don't matter smh...

It's hard to believe that a team that went from never being out of a game and fighting every night no matter who they had available went to whatever the fuxk they put on display now. With a guy like Butler being the leader and the one who sets the tone of this team, it's also hard to believe this could happen. But he has been a big part of the problem and self admittedly lackadaisical. And Spo has failed royally in having this team ready to play most nights. And the front office has failed in shoring up the team's obvious weaknesses that even 10 year old Heat fans could point out. Just a sickening season from the top down....

Really takes something like this season to really shake things up. Maybe finally Spo and Riley will move on so a different philosophy have have a go

Jimmy knows this team cant shoot, rebound, or protect the ball, there is no way they are winning anything this season so putting 110% effort out there isnt going to happen. In the last few years, there was magic on the team. You could tell they had the ability to beat anyone and also win the games they are supposed to. This season has never had that feeling so Jimmy doesnt give AF.
I have to say I am shocked that Kevin Love looks this awful. Seriously would rather have Duncan out there chucking wide open threes than Love. Huge bust. Strus got no love yesterday from Spo either.
Strus, Yurt, Gabe, Love, - better not get a deadweight contract this summer from the Heat. Dipo is a huge disappointment as well. May as well package him and Lowry as expirings at the trade deadline next season.
Its looking like a rebuild that will last until 2025 right now, there is a lot of work to do for Andy and Pat to get out of this mess. That said, Pat has pulled off miracles before. Here to hoping he has one more trick left before heading to Malibu.

Everything you said applies to Butler wether you like it or not. Did anyone see heart, grit, heck let’s go with freaking effort from him. 10 shots on a must win game, tells you everything about Butler this season. Do you think Kobe would be cool taking ten shots? Do you think Wade? We have a ton of problems but when out star, our leader plays like this, the rest of the team follows it.

I come from 80s/90s brand of ball so i can agree. I'm not fan of load management or rest. But we've also seen Jimmy give it his all when it counts. We've seen him leave it all out there on the court. We've seen his heart & grit. Consider also this ain't a contending season for us. We're merely competing. Why wld Butler give 100% every game when we're aren't contenders & w/ the roster we have after FO provided him w/ no help. I'd play it smart too. Do we want him to be able to play at a high level for the next 2-3 yrs when we're legit contenders? Then we can't have him unnecessarily injured. Bam's a young buck, he can go hard every game & won't impact him. Being the young, future player we may want to build around we have to see more. Taking possessions off is str8 p*ssy.

Cats are so short sighted. All i see are the same constant complaints. This is all part of the process. We can't have it good every damn season. We're going to make some mistakes along the way. Majority teams make more mistakes in one season why they aren't a winning organisation like us. It's actually better we make PO's & get swept, this will trigger our FO to make the necessary needed changes moving forward. This is how it works.
I don't see us making it out of 1st round & i wouldn't have it any other way. W/ hardship comes change. I have the nuts to ride this out not complain or give up on the team & process. "This stuff is hard, And you got to stay together, if you got the guts. And you don't find the first door and run out of it if you have an opportunity. But everybody, just get a grip."
"I think we need to have a perspective about things," Riley said. "I think everybody needs to get a grip—media, Heat players, organization, all of our fans—we got to get a grip on greatness and on teams. I've been here for 45 years in the NBA, and I've witnessed dynasties, I've witnessed great teams. The '80s Lakers, five championships in 12 years. So what does that mean? Seven times they didn't win. In that run, they didn't win. You got to deal with it, you got to come back."
Riley continued: "[The] Celtics were supposed to be a great team in the '80s—12 years together, three wins, nine losses. The Chicago Bulls, from '87 to '98, 11 times in 11 years they won six titles, that's five times that Michael [Jordan], Scottie [Pippen] and Horace Grant lost. The Lakers, from I think '96, with Shaq and Kobe, to today, like 14 or 15 years, they won five [titles]. That means they lost 12 times. The Spurs, in 17 years, won five titles. So you add it up, what's the math there? You know, they lost 12 times."
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

I wonder if he has the same brainless philosophy in other aspects of life. Like if he goes to a restaurant and gets a burnt meal, he eats it all because "cooks sometimes make mistakes and it's part of the process" and if he thinks it makes him a better customer for doing so.
