It's basically Herro's fault for laying an egg the past 3 playoffs and might be the reason we won't get Dame. Of course, injuries are part of it.

But this is the main reason why orgs do not want him. Washington also chose Jordan Poole with a similar contract over him lol

Heat have been raving about the development of Jovic plus we got additions of Jaquez, J Rich, and Thomas Bryant. Robinson should be able to step in and give us the same production and more that Strus did. Dame is not the end all be all to us churning out a quality squad next season

Absolutely, we retooled very well this offseason, just need a good PG to start and were set.

If we don’t get Dame, there is zero chance at a ring. Let’s not kid ourselves here just because we had a lil flukey Finals run. Every single Heat player played above their pay grade. That doesn’t usually happen, and eventually they all crashed down to g league earth. No Dame, then we are once again a play in team, pass

Trade Herro, Jovic, Martin (we can't afford him after this year anyway), hell throw in JJJ (and wait 30 days for the deal to be official official) if need be but GET IT DONE

I think BK definitely wants Herro but the problem is they are probably not wanting to give up the necessary picks to satisfy Portland to get him at this time. Wrangling going behind the scenes. Heat’s 2028 and 2030 are the only pick certainties. Maybe BK only willing to give one pick and Portland wants another.

They didn't choose Poole lol. We weren't trying to trade Herro to the Wiz.

Yeah, they are doing everything they can to get him discounted, knowing well Riley is all in on Lillard.

I'd like to give Cronin another dent in his forehead right about now.

Don’t care for him. He ditched us for Phoenix. He was the original Snek before Durant.

Would be amazing if we kept one or the other but have to think both are going in any potential trade. Jaquez is off limits and we made that a point by recently signing him (can’t be traded for a month now). Maybe Heat front office plays hardball and this thing drags on for a while too which is fine

If injuries are part of it we cant say he laid an egg. The guy was trying to make a hustle play and broke his hand, its unfortunate but hardly his fault.

There were reports posted here by Stein or somebody that Herro can be part of the Beal trade.

It's just Beal and Washington prefer PHX.

2021 absolutely. Got locked down by Jrue.

In 2022 got that leg injury or something in ECF but struggled in the Hawks and Philly series while being fine.

Sure he gets a pass this past playoffs.

The problem is nobody really wants Herro. Hornets hasn’t registered their interests in Herro and Miami has proven that they can function without Herro and doesn’t think he could’ve helped them in the final which dropped his value a bit . No teams really wanted to helped the Heat unless they gets fair return which involving bam from what I am told. Jazz is now in the race, 76ers as well, maybe Nets. Maybe Celtics. These teams have way better offers than Miami. This is what happened when Heat doesn’t value their picks because they always looking to stay relevant so their picks doesn’t hold much values in such trade.

Are the voices in your head the ones telling you this?

Would you rather be told what you want to hear or how reality works?
