Holiday vs Harden: Choose your fighter
Pointy stick to the dome ... you have to choose one or else ... which one would you prefer the Heat trade for?

Sadly, we won't get either, and at this point - it doesn't even matter.
None of them will make us a contender IMO, and paying big for old borderline stars in order to be non-contenders is pointless. It's worst then pointless, it's destructive.

Didn't want to go the firearm route. Besides, have you ever been jabbed in the head with a pointy stick? It hurts!

lol I get it .. was just saying if those were the choices, maybe the pointy stick ain't too bad

Edit: Just to be clear, would love to have Holiday on the team, but the Dame thing is too raw for us to tuck our tails and go back to that bald clown and give him (almost) the same package for a lesser player. And can't stand Harden .. .sorry Bish!

I disagree with this, depending on the cost. We were a contender last season, made it to the Finals. A defense of Jrue/JRich/Butler/Martin/Adebayo is pretty phuckin nice and would cause a lot of issues for a lot of teams.
Lillard would’ve been a better fit because he provided the true alpha offensive production we need, but we can still contend with either of those guys.

Re: Holiday vs Harden: Choose your fighter
It has to be Harden, but it is unrealistic to expect 76ers to deal them to a direct rival.
If Heat wanna go 2nd apron for Jrue while keeping Herro, then it is Jrue.
Jrue is better, but there is no way to acquire him and stay under the 2nd apron, unless Herro is moved.
Then you just swapped Herro for Jrue and that is not a big upgrade, you also ended up paying assets for it too.
The third option of just keeping all the assets and young players, going into the season and see what happens is absolutely fine.
The Hype around swapping Dame for Jrue/Allen is overstated and risky, on paper and talent wise it is an upgrade but not even a big one.
They lost depth and who knows how the fit really works out. It's also a player who initially didn't want to be there, who knows how bought in Dame really is, even if he wants to make it work.
