We’re about as average as a team can get. Closer to a bad team since we keep losing these close games. The moment butler goes down after compiling too many bumps and bruises from falling will be when we really sink

Jaquez, Jovic, Duncan/ Rozier (or both) for a proper ball handler

Jaquez should be solely playing the 3 spot as a slasher but Spo has him all over the place playing out of position like pretty much like the entirety of the roster now. Larrson’s future is at the wing spot so if the right deal comes along, someone like Jaime could get a deal pushed over the top. All depends on which direction the franchise wants to take cause if Butler is dealt it’s not a bad idea to have both to battle it out at the 3 spot.

Very solid 3rd. Kinda mad Spo didn't challenge or complain about the charge from dame that was called a block foul on Larsson. Overall a good game even with the loss. Saw good things from Larsson, Duncan. Team took a small step last night. Guys this is all situational practice. Our approach to the regular season is different than other teams.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

The evidence is in, and I think it's been shown that Butler makes no real difference in the regular season.

The Heat are rarely (and have rarely been) bad, regardless of who is or isn't on the team. That's because in almost every season our team simply shows up to play more more often than most teams. And tanking is almost unheard of. That alone keeps us bottoming out in the .500 range regardless of talent level. The last time we were really bad was Pat's last season coaching back in '07-'08.

Absent a series of catastrophic injuries, the Heat will finish in the 7/8/9/10 play-in range. You can bank on that.

You sending that for Lavine and signing a vet PG somehow or getting back Ayo or Carter from the Bulls?

Talent wise getting Lavine might be the best they could do

Passing on Lavine

In the offseason I would have traded Herro for him but that no longer makes a ton of sense.

This team is in desperate need of a PG

Bam is the 2nd best player but unfortunately the 4th option. If you want him more involved offensively you need to 1, make that a point of the offense and 2, get someone that makes his life easier on the other end. Hes literally the entire defense right now
