Put Bam on a team with a Tier 1 superstar, and he would thrive. Heading into his 7th season, he’s not the kind of player who can consistently put up 25 points and 10 rebounds every night, and it’s unlikely he’ll reach that level. His scoring isn’t on a Tier 1 or Tier 2 level. However, as I mentioned, pairing him with a Tier 1 player would elevate his game significantly, making him look five times better than he does in his current situation.

Is that supposed to be a bad thing? I'll sign up for bigger more athletic Draymond any day of the week!

Haha yea you’re right I mean that’s a damn good player obviously, just feel he isn’t reaching his full potential. Especially since we got Terry, his usage and shot attempts were knifed after that trade. If that’s going to happen then so be it but it better be for an elite player not the level of offensive players we have

I was stuck with the Hornets broadcast, but their commentators were pretty lively. Anyway, at the end when Herro hits that 3 to put the Heat up for good in the final seconds they go something like
"Herro ... wow"
"Nails!!!!"
"He certainly is, what a player"

Slight goosebumps :)

What’s wild is he’s looked at as this flawed offensive player but he still ends up averaging 19-20 every year without being a main priority scoring wise. There’s more there we need to get out. Get an elite playmaker and get someone to play next to Bam, hell try Ware and see what happens there. Take some of the priorities off his and even Jimmy’s plates in the front court and let our stars be stars.

When heat were blowing the lead they said “heat are folding like a $3 suit case” couldn’t help but laugh

Yesterday the tnt guy was saying kaboom when Dame would hit a three. Didn’t care for that…

Why we giving Bam excuses. He got that 150 mil extension over 3 seasons in addition and he's been poor. You can put some blame on the offense and Spo not getting him the ball. But a majority of the blame should go on him. We can talk about shot attempts but dude is shooting 43 % from the field as a big, that's pretty bad. He gotta be way better on offense than he is now.

Well I should say Spo was forced to turn him into that with the Terry acquisition as you can’t pay a coming $50M-$60M on guys who are offense only players and not have them be a priority offensively. It’s why Bam/Jimmy have taken a backseat majority of the year, they impact several areas on both ends.

regardless, it seems that jimmy will lose a few more games with his back injury. :nonono:

I've said it here before. Bam is a great player. I love the kid.
However, he's not a superstar, not a max player, and he needs to continue to work to become a PF.
It is annoying that Spo continues to push his small-ball approach and doesn't try to play Bam next to a real Center.

He doesn't trust ware yet. Ware needs more minutes and spo trust. That's okay if bam not superstar he is still a great player and gives maximum effort.

If you’re the best defender in the world and you flirt with putting up 20-10-4 nearly every season without being a priority on offense you’re a max player lmao

He is a great player, individual, and citizen but can't carry this team. I hope the front office can bring someone to be the star of this team and play well with Bam.

We gotta play Bam next to Ware. Bam is great as a pf. Ware spaces the floor for him. I don't understand why we don't use that combo more. It seems like the most logical fit to me, but you guys know more than I do; how come we don't do it? I get ware gets lost sometimes, but playing next to Bam seems like the quickest way for Ware to improve.

Found it in X. Wow, the place was rocking and the atmosphere was electric as soon as their rook hit the 3 to put them ahead. Never realized all this while watching it live!! Serious butt clenching would be my guess for not realizing

By the way both Ware and Bam talked about it this summer they also thought it would be happening.

Totally agreed, It's very annoying Spo doesn't even try it.

Bam's quickness and awareness of defense will help cover for Ware's inexperience, And Ware has elite size to finish inside on offense (and low-key has better touch then Bam IMO).
