Good that Heat got two bad opponent performances in a row.

Nice win great to see Bam, Jimmy and Herro all play really well. Jimmy has logged some pretty good games as of late and has taken over when needed. I think if Miami can stay healthy we might not be a play in team this year. I’d really like to see them push for a top 4 seed

Nice games from our big 3. Duncan with a solid outing too.
But jeez, we got a big problem if Terry is being outplayed by Dru phucking Smith. This was a guy who was supposed to solve our PG problems. Now he’s just another horrible contract that we can’t move off of without attaching an asset.
We’re going to likely have to stick with him this year and try find a buyer as an expiring in 2025-26. Sucks that when we finally pull the trigger on a deal, it turns into a chit one.

Herro won the impact matchup between UK guards. Booker was the ceiling projection for Herro. Now hes his floor. Oh how times have changed bwahahaha!

That three main pieces that are struggling. Rozier, Jovic and Jaquez. That is not something you can just trade out of. I can understand if it was a chemistry thing but all three is playing bad as an individual. And its no reason for the miss open shots they have missed. And even Bam has struggled at missing easy open shots.Wiltside wrote:Nice games from our big 3. Duncan with a solid outing too.

Unless you take a chance and trade for someone else struggling player not sure how you improve the situation

Weve got a too many mouths to feed situation.
Weve got like 15 guys who need playing time. Guys are in and out of the lineup. No consistency. No rhythm.

Herro gonna find a way to resurrect Jovic’s season the way he resurrected Bam’s career these past few games.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Unfortunately Rozier was never a great fit with the core, particularly two non-shooters. It doesnt look like he’s getting a chance to play his game, but then again maybe his game doesnt lead to winning. To his credit it appears he’s being professional about everything so I dont think we’ll have to worry about him turning into a Lowry style malcontent.

Thats because you got 3 to 4 rotation players struggling. You shouldnt need to be playing 14 guys. Right now three guys are playing that shouldnt be NEEDED at this rate and thats Love, Smith and Larsson. And thats because of the struggles of Jovic, Rozier and Jaquez. Love, Smith and Larsson are suppose to be fighting to be in the top ten. Hell all three are in the top 7 and 8 of the rotation strictly because of how bad Jovic, Rozier and Jaquez has played. Understandable with Jovic, but Rozier and Jaquez look really mentally zoned out. I really hope that Miami life has not corrupted them. You see no quickness or explosion or focus out those two.

Rozier is missing open layups. That has nothing to do with how his teammates complement him. Its not like he doesnt get the ball. So I do not think its the system or his teammates. Now eventually his teammates will stop giving him the ball.

Even Jimmy smoked a couple of layups yesterday, I’m not getting on Rozier for that. What I see is someone not playing with confidence or certainty of what he should be doing.

He is definitely playing without confidence, I think that is why he taking these weird hesistant shots with lack of explosive shots. Its like he doesnt trust his own ability. Last season when he got here he didnt shot with lack of confidence. Now that is when I would say he was still trying to figure out his role. But this year its just plain oh bad basketball. And its the same with Jaquez.

I agree with everything you said. Jaquez as of right now only has one skill on offense, and that’s under the basket shifting and shooting, the problem is he is undersized and often gets blocked. And about Rozier, I hope is not the nightlife as you mentioned, but I have a bad feeling it is.
