Expansion Draft

Hey Heat fans, Just wanted to know if in an expansion draft what 8 players are you protecting? Remember 1 player must be unprotected from the draft and player/team options can also be protected. Thanks guys. Also what would you be willing to give up to protect one of your players from not being selected.

Not sure I bother with Highsmith, though he is a positive contract, maybe him over Dru.

Also Niko is a hard one because his extension is coming up and making a long term commitment to him will be a difficult choice depending on the market

No one is signing Dru with his injury, so he's effectively protected by default and can be resigned with little risk.

The expansion team would 100% take Duncan. Good character, great shooter who could fit in a variety of lineups, not too old or young, contract that gets them to the salary floor, etc.
