Also the kind of games that help keep his extension team friendly. Trajectory is still up for Jovic. Let's get an extension that will prove a bargain.

I wasn't able to catch the game, but from what I can gather Miami couldn't generate any offense because no one could create space for open looks.

Been harping on it for years that Miami hasn't had a real slasher that can collapse a defense and create advantage since Wade. Herro has improved greatly this season at creating his own looks, but otherwise the rest of the team is reliant on Bam for the creation of space/facilitating the offensive flow. I'm sure he was greatly missed as no one else in the frontcourt rotation (aside from sometimes Love) can really move people off their spots while navigating the offense.

My hope with the Terry addition last year was that he would provide some relief to the offense by being quick enough to get in the paint, but that experiment has been a failure.

I take it Bam was missed.

Zubac had 21 points and 20 rebounds last night.

Shame Bam missed, because Bam typically does work against Zubac on both ends of the floor:

You can completely take away his points or rebounds from last night and he still went over that number combined against Bam in the last 5 lol

The second he got ruled out I knew it was a big Zubac night, kicking myself for not taking Ware props last night though. Knew love would play the opening stints but Ware would get the remaining 18 minutes or whatever of each half basically

JJJs paint spinorama game was shut down easily as well. He telegraphed each move and did not have a good handle on the ball.

Good loss to highlight the passing deficiency of our handoffs and tenancy to swing the ball side to side. Something the heat need to work on. Was a winnable game. On to the next.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

There was a point where clippers commentators said Jovic is 1-10 but they were still in love with his game and could see he belongs.

That's the struggle with his style. He doesn't win with speed or get a step on the defender. So he doesn't tilt the defense or draw extra help. It's just a 1-on-1 endeavor. Jimmy has always been similar in that regard. Jaime is crafty as hell and can win some of these matchups, but the less reliable his 3 ball, the more the defender can sink & the more the opposition can defend him with size and negate his paint moves.

Jovic and Terry were horrific completely wasted a great effort from the other players like Herro and Ware

Return to Miami Heat
