Let him focus on the areas of the game he is exceptional in - defense, acting as our hub offensively, putbacks and middys. Get him comfortable again and let him play as a bigger Draymond and the team will be better for it.

There's a decent chance that Bam will not be OK with that.

Why? It’s not an insult. Bam is better than Draymond offensively imo, but it’s not exactly light years ahead if that’s the thought.

Draymond is likely a HOFer. Rodman (not at all comparing Bam to him) is a HOFer too. They’ve both been huge keys to multiple championships playing the role. It’s not an insult, and tbh for Bams skill set and mentality it makes a lot of sense.

5 players sucking, spo subs out one person.
He stuck with that group way too long and it liked us.
Glad the b team could rally but it should take a blowout to get Larsson in there.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Honestly we lost the game because at one point we were 0-16 from 3 worth most being good looks. The vet lineup was tired. Ware made a ton of mistakes and the bright spot was that he was allowed to play through it thanks to the blowout. Once the vets left we still made a ton of mistakes but the energy and sense of urgency was different. Blazers were still trying. What can Spo learn from this? Saw some behind the scenes of billups coaching practice sessions, man they are going to be good if they keep listening to him.

Billups is one of the worst coaches in the NBA. Not much to learn. Until recently the Blazers vets have been underacheiving and had tuned him out. Simons, Ayton and Grant have recently woken to life as they are auditioning to get out of town so Portland can get on with the rebuild. It´s a damned shame Butler isn´t doing the same and sabotaging his value instead.
