The talent is already there; the real question is consistency. He needs to bring it every night.

Yup, mindset also. Look like playing w/ a legit C unlocks him mentally. Looking far more comfortable out there.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Trust him more with the ball than Herro, though Herro his career high in assists

I was screaming at the TV for Spo to try it against the Jazz when they had Markkanen, Collins, and Kessler out there killing us and he wouldn't. Glad to see he's finally come around to some sense.

Well that actually looks like a legit NBA lineup! :D

I thought I was having a stroke when I was watching the highlights and I notice that this was the lineup. That lineup has shooting, playmaking, rim protection, and defense with Bam as kind of a roamer. It's beautiful.

Ps...I like Ware a lot. I love it even more that Bam can go back to being a 4.

Positive signs! It's been awhile. Strong front court play and no JJ in the rotation. Let's build on this

Orlando is such a awkward team they have like 6-7 guys who are 6*9+ and none of them are weak and all posses above average athletic ability. Black was giving Herro fits as well crazy that the Heat won that. If Orlando were even a average shooting team they would be a nightmare for any elite team in a 7 game series.

Ware plays a lot like a bigger better defensive Christian Wood

greg4012 wrote:Awesome seeing Miami go jumbo and the blend of skillsets with Jovic-Bam-Ware and shooting. I hope it becomes a regular element into the future.

Orlando presented a unique opp for it to emerge bc they go jumbo themselves and don't really have a potent quick slashing threat. That negates the need for Miami to prioritize having a POA defender to stop teams from walking into the paint at will. Not that Miami has many of those POA defenders right now anyways.

Let's continue developing these future lineups and balance out the roster with all future transactions.

Time for Spo to go to a cabin in the off-season n come back w the big ball. I know the small ball made you but it's time to reinvent if u really wanna go down as a great coach in history.

Haha, I'd LOVE to see a Smart dagger 3 to beat Celtics in Boston in the playoff. Even just one game. Make it happen! Give Bill Simmon a heart attack!!

I still wish Duncan finish that dunk attempt that would of won the game instead of going to overtime. But good to see Bam step up in OT

I large number of us have been howling at the moon about this for years....Bam is a natural 4. It's not a coincidence that when Ware is out there at C with him, Bam's true abilities defensively are unleashed. Even better...Ware can stretch the floor so there's more room offensively for Bam to operate (dude was a beast tonight). If we can somehow get De'Aaron Fox....whoa boy!

I'm not a 100 % sold on it. Magic as talented as they are, they lack perimeter speed to exploit this lineup. A real test would be on wed against Cavs. Its gonna be a challenge for Duncan, Herro, Jovic, Ware to keep Garland and Mitchell ahead of them. I think for this to work you would need a POA defender in place of Duncan. But Spo should continue with it for rest of the season. And let us see if over a larger sample size it works.

Spo still need to learn to find ways to give guys rest. Playing the same unit 4th quarter and both OT's is not it. Worked out last night but usual they are gassed. Herro getting to the rack was a theme. Nice comeback win.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Agreed that it is a limitation of Jovic SF minutes--POA defense against real slashers. Unfortunately, Miami's 1-3 rotation has basically only Highsmith that is a positive in that capacity (Pelle working his way there, too).

Hopefully Miami's roster is more balanced in the near future on that front.
