People like the idea of tanking or rebuilding. But when the team loses like a tanking or rebuilding team does they want lots of changes

The Heat have shown a lot of positives. Played really well against good teams for most of a game. They just can’t sustain it. Thats a whole lot better than just being a garbage team for the full game. It is like a car crapping out just before it reaches the top of a hill then rolling back down. It only needs a little more to get over the top then it can coast down the other side.

That will come from young player development, new players integrating and perhaps a piece or two over the summer.

It would just be concerning to me that a team lead by Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro cannot make the playoffs in the East. I don't care if neither are 'alphas' or #1 scoring options - they are still all-star caliber players and should be able to mull a team to at least 40 wins in a weaker conference.

If they cannot do that, we have bigger issues to worry about and one star acquisition will not solve our problems in the offseason.

Im still under the full impression that some of the guys are worn out. Bam & JJJ have played all way the way thru since last summer. Jovic too technically, but he gets a break now.

You have a rookie that Heat NEED to play, but hes also a rookie and just not up to speed. Duncan dont even seem right. Only guys really playing are Bam & Herro. Thats just not enough.

Its one of those seasons that can fuel people for the next one. Heat will make the play-in, then its whatever from there.

Heat got pieces but theyre missing something or someone, heart, toughness? Who knows

Its obvious what they're missing but not easy to get. An offensive engine in their prime who can score in the paint and get easy buckets. Luka for example fixes this team, Luka fixes all that team. But that's just how the league works. The really elite teams have these guys. We had Wade, so we had a foundation to build around. Jimmy was able for a few season to be that guy. Now FO needs to find the next guy. Building around Bam Herro is not viable for post season success. Till we find that guy this team can't contend

They will be available, Front office needs to be locked in.

I missed this :o

Probably was telling Ware he's 6" too tall to be a center for his team.

I told you ware is softer than charmin. He needs work on his strength and awareness and play better defense.

We’ll be shutting it down soon

I have a problem with bam being too far out of the paint and not available to rebound

That’s a Spo schematics thing hit despite that he’s still one of the top rebounders in the league

But I’ve seen in some scenarios where hawks deliberately tried to draw Bam out of the paint to free up the paint a little bit by making bam to switch onto a sg or sf where they purposely will just stand behind the 3pt line. Guess where hawks center is? Inside the paint ready to rebound against bunch of minions. Bam only accounts for 5 rebounds in this game.

Correct, that is how basketball works. You try to draw out mismatches and put the opposing team in tough spots.

This is perhaps more aligned to the thinking of the organization. As frustrating as this season has been w/ the number of blown games i doubt we’re losing our minds in panic. The process it has taken to get to where this team is at currently is a positive considering how much worse it cld have been. We are getting a lot closer to rounding out this team. But like w/ all great things it requires some patience.

If Bam played this season w/ the same attacking mindset since Ware was inserted into the line up, especially the way Herro has been playing, do you think we’d be sitting 8th right now? If our young core were 4-5 seasons deep do you think we’d still be this mediocre? Especially after trading Butler we simply are not legit contenders. We’re developing this roster. This is a process & unfortunately, as much as we don’t like it, losing is part of it. We’re not going to be extreme w/ response & fire the coach, rebuild, tank etc. We’ve always figured things out the right way. We’re not perfect but we’re hella a lot better at making these decisions through adversity than many organisations in the league.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade
