Knicks are a tough tough team and top 3 in the East so can’t really sweat this one too bad especially after stealing one against the Pacers. Need to take care of business tomorrow. Hopefully Ware’s good to go and nothing pops up from tonight’s Robinson incident.

yeah...this....

I think the 4th qtr declines over and over and over are just telling us how close we are. Everything is fine until the 4th qtr and the lack of a legit PG/set up rears its ugly head.

The team spent the offseason rebuilding an offense that never really had the expected players on the court...we got PG issues, we lost Jimmy..... Hell we saw Bron-Wade-Bosh flail around in the beginning ....it should be no surprise our mid-season rebuild is taking time to settle in.

I am impressed, and looking forward to next year. Tank out this one, get the guys we want in the draft, retool the roster with parts that fit and lets go.

Vry fresh, positive take far removed frm the group think within this forum.

I do think it signifies us getting closer but i also believe the collapses have been a coaching thing…..not strategies, rotations etc but have always thought Spo himself lacks fight & that lack of aggression frm him spreads to the team. Fish rots frm the head down as they say. Bam, although playing brilliantly, doesn’t exude fight & grit. The hugging & friendliness towards opponents is so far removed frm Rileys philosophy of being fierce competitors & not to schmooze w/ opponents.

Could be...I love Spo, I think he is great....but I really do get the vibe this I the second year in a row it seems like the team was built to work with something they don't have. I thought last year the loss Dru early jacked up the rotation...it is kinda nuts to think the team was reliant on a Dru smith type player to fire on all cylinders. So maybe I am way wrong on that...but it sure felt that way to me. The same as this year, even when we still had Jimmy it felt off to me.

I give them a pass for loosing guys/midseason rebuild, (notably Jimmy) and having a funky flow to games...it is what it is. If I was going to fault Spo on something, it how many years...season after season...we just let guys shoot from the outside with only a token level of resistance.

It has gotten them to the finals, so clearly it works under the right circumstances...but as a casual fan...it is annoying.

I don’t know if that’s what it called but herro has the tendency after rebound, he would spirit to the other end of the court and jack up a 3 when there is 21 seconds left on the clock. He almost never made any of them

I don't know where he is at now...but at one point in the season he was 3rd in the league taking a 3 pointer off the dribble and over 40%. I tried looking it up and he is no longer in the top 20 (have to pay to go deeper then 20)

At that level of production I could get why he does it

Spo getting his lick back on Bam lol

Unowen you were right to call out that rebound. That was critical. If Bam gets that board we win the game regardless of how (Please Use More Appropriate Word) Tyler played in the second half (sans the part where no one could score and he put us up by I think 5 late), or the coaching mistakes.

Spo is unclutch as a coach.

Herro's best ball came early in the season when Ware was barely playing.

Something can be said too about Bam’s offensive emergence that seemingly go hand in hand with Herro’s decline in performance. It’s like we can’t jointly get the best out of our “stars” on any given night including when Jimmy was here

I would say Bam's emergence has come with Ware being inserted. Ware doing the real big man work on D has freed Bam up to be on the perimeter and roam.

He had legs then. You can tell he's getting worn out. I definitely feel that's honestly the biggest contributor to his shot falling all the way off a cliff. But Tyler has DEFINITELY benefitted from having Ware/a huge lob threat like that out there. There's literally no pressure release valve for him on offense without Ware's emergence.

Hate him all you want, but he has been THE OFFENSE for the Heat for the majority of the season.

Bam boxed out their best rebounders who happens to be one of the best rebounders in the league and took him completely out of the paint, it’s not his fault everyone else was sleeping and let OG run in for the put back with 0 resistance. I’m shocked at how little ball some of you know honestly
