The only thing scary about Terry having a decent game tonight is that Spo might be tempted to play him again at the worst time. When Terry has a good game it’s definitely fools gold. Mitchell can’t come back soon enough.

Somebody posted JJJ's iso defense numbers a while back...he was like top 5 or top 10 or something in some sort of metric. Might have only been guards...I don't really recall...but if dudes are not to large for him, or too fast for him...he appears at least functional on defense. This year he just seems to lack that hyper focus he had last year around the basket.
JJJ was so safe to play last year, he was methodical around the basket, he knew exactly what he wanted to do, and the second it was not a high probability play...he gave the ball up.... Dude was really good for a rookie at getting the looks he wanted and not stopping the ball.
All that calmness, and methodical presence he had appears to have evaporated.
I am really glad they stumbled into Larrson...that should put pressure on JJJ to work his tail off if he is going to bounce back to what he could be.
The thing about Pelle’s emergence is it’s made JJJ extremely expendable in the offseason. The good thing is some team who liked JJJ pre draft will still see potential and be more than happy to take him on as a cheap bench rotation player. He’ll still be viewed as a decent sweetener with the expiring contract attachments.

My report from last night’s game:
Herro got the biggest cheers from the arena when they were introducing Heat starting lineup. And he put on a show for them.
Wizards fans thought Pelle was legit, kept complimenting him for defense and hustle.
The arena was in shock after Ware posterized Sarr. They were frustrated that Bam was bullying him the whole game and on offense Sarr just kept bricking everything, including layups. At one point some ten year old pleaded, “Come on, Alex!” Poor kid.
They hate Smart for some reason. He was booed every time he got the ball. I don’t follow the news here enough to know why.

For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

We honestly need that, we’ve fuxked around and almost played ourselves into the 7/8 bracket. With the Celtics, Grizzlies, and Bucks up next the margin of error is very slim, Terry makes it even slimmer or nearly impossible to overcome. These are the last 3 good teams on the schedule even with the Bucks missing Lillard (Bulls own us but that doesn’t mean they don’t suck) so we probably end the season on a 3 game win streak at minimum and that’s if Chicago beats us again

I'm glad we are playing to our potential but I was content losing for the draft. It's going to be nice this year. Poole had some good moments but also shot them out of it. If he picked his spots better the wizard would have success.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington
