davion was a factor yesterday that's without a doubt in my mind i think he has the bulldog mentality in him and just have keep on doing what he is doing nothing much or less bam has to step up bigly. and ware needs to shake off his nerves and everything will be alright

I know there's a segment of fans that hate hearing anything pertaining to "culture" but he's emblematic of the culture we've been building for years. Worked his ass off and has done everything asked of him since being drafted and continues to get better.

He is going to get rewarded for that extension this offseason. I'd say he deserves it, his jumped this season is one of the silver linings.

I will say that he has proven to provide clear value on his current contract already (in the 2nd year of the 4 year deal). Many berated the contract at the time as a terrible overpay/mistake. I was lukewarm on Tyler's contract at the time but believed in the need to invest in our talented drafted youth and that if nothing else it would end up being a decent value in a league with rising salary cap.

Not even getting into the clear improvements in his game and playstyle this season, Tyler showed out by showing durability that had previously eluded him--career high in games played this season and he avoided a drop-off in production that we had previously seen from him in the back part of the season.

Here's to Tyler continuing to prove doubters wrong.

Indeed. Kudos to Herro for being well-worth his contract this season.

I would personally want him to sustain his durability and production for one more season before handing him an extension, but wouldn't be mad if he got one this summer as long as it's less than a max.

Had to wait 3 hours (after the game ended) to watch the game on LP, and boy was it worth the wait :)

New GT is up, so let’s do this again tomorrow!

Great game from Herro! He played as a leader

The defense was real good in this game and I think that Heat have the tools to be one of the top defensive teams.
Ware, Adebayo, Wiggins, Mitchel are all top defenders

What I also like in this team is that seems that they are all good characters and have a good synergy.
I didn't like so much the Warriors vibes, with Curry and Green being ironic to opponents and laughing and punching teammates.
I also like more Spoelstra than Kerr. I mean both as a coach and as a character.
Kerr was allergic to iso basketball something that I never liked.

I like the Miami Heat trio of Adebayo, Wiggins, Herro. They seem to me that they can build chemistry. Good players and good characters and they play for the win and not for their ego.
I think that lately Herro plays more for the win than before.

Who else got a shock when they heard “Terry has entered the game”, only the relax a couple of seconds later to realize it was Dalen Terry they were talking about?

Both of them are equally bad, as I saw their Terry throw the ball right to Bam on a OOB play and got Bam an easy runaway dunk

Heat fans seem divided on this one.

I think the 2026 and 2028 picks not being unprotected is very important. I lean that way.

It all depends on how we would use the picks. If 13/18 or whatever it was could have been used on Durant, that would have been better. But if its used on prospects who will take a bit to crack the rotation, I think protecting our asses later is more important. And as much as we want the trades, other teams have more to offer, even if we had the two picks in the first.

As for basketball, it was a frustrating Heat game. But at least guys came up big and we held off the comeback.
